I haven't played CF in years, and I'll probably never play it again since I gave my sister my Wii. It's definitely my least favourite of the series anyway, and I still have GC, WW, and NL.
I used to play it ALL The time back when it first came out and I loved the online features and stuff. I have a LOT of rare items and stuff that I'll NEVER get back if I restarted, but I also am REALLY bored with my town....
I haven't played in a LONG time and I don't have any urge to go back to it.
Well, i played it maybe for a few weeks. I think Animal Crossing should be a handheld game. Wasn't very convenient playing it on the Wii. So no, i'm not playing it anymore and will never get back to it probably.
No unfortunately not. I lost interest once I had upgraded all houses as much as possible and after doing all the holiday events. Same thing has happened with New Leaf. I have fully upgraded my house and long done all the holiday events (I got my game back in July 2013 so I've long done those events). I love Animal Crossing but it still gets to a point where there's not much left to do unfortunately. It usually entertains me for about a year though so hey.
I haven't played CF in ages = 3=
I used to have a town I loved, but my kid brother ended up deleting it somewhere along the line : P I kinda wanna get back into it
ACNL was my first experience with this game series, but I am interested to try City Folk, at least until they release the next console game. I like to go back once I discover a series. It is neat to see the evolution.
The last time I played CF was just before New Leaf was released. I was anxious to get back into AC and thought, what the heck, I'll start up the ol' Wii. Unfortunately most of my friends had moved away. I might fire it up again soon for the memories.
When creating a new character in City Folk, you have the option to import one of your Wild World characters instead. When you did this, it would copy your character and their item catalog into City Folk, although it wouldn't carry any items or bells over. If you already had a big catalog in Wild World, though, then it would definitely beat having to start collecting items all over again in City Folk.
I played City Folk a few times a week up until some time in September of 2014, when my Wii's disk drive decided to give out on me. A couple weeks ago, I was finally able to get some of my games up and running again, and I was even able to patch them all to be able to connect to Wifi again. I've been playing City Folk daily since then.
I wish I could experience it, though. I didn't have a Wii back then and back at the time had no idea Animal Crossing even existed. It looks like it has a fun concept, but could be much better.
I'm tempted to pick this up again, especially since you can pick up a copy for around a fiver on eBay. Though I'd also have to fork out for a Wii remote and nunchuck for my Wii U which isn't cheap.
