That’s one of the only tasks I do. If they sell me things I buy them. I think that’s just me compensating for declining everything else they ask. I don’t need the junk, but I buy it.

Same. I deny so many other requests, I figure it’s the least I can do. Sadly I don’t think it counts toward the Smile achievement, if so there’d be further incentive.

I've never been given, or sent, a color variant in the entire year I've been playing.

They've only given me the island specific color.

Variants I get from balloons, Redd, and trading.

I do it just because I can. I'm not really frugal at this point. I do decline every delivery request, and every request to buy one of my items. Especially my garbage can that everyone wants so badly

Yeah, it doesn't bother me much. I have more in-game bells than I know what to do with anyway.

Considering I just sell the stuff or regift it, the loss is negligible.

It really depends on what they're selling. If it's something I don't have then I'll buy it just for the sake of completing my catalogue or if it's something I already have then I sometimes will buy it in hopes of it being a different colour or variation.

Yup, I always buy. I refuse to sell or trade. In fact, as often as possible, I empty my pockets of anything they could ask for. It's resulted in more than one of conservation with my villager going oh I forgot what I was going to say!

I don’t mind buying items (usually buy from first offer) from them cause I thought it’s a nice way of interacting with my villagers - even if I don’t need said item at all! ^^;
