There's zero reason to remove them, especially when they've already been modeled as part of the house.

And worst case scenario: use your landscaping permit to create a sunken area and plant a line of trees there, then recreate the cliffs all around them. Boom. Apple bush.

That sunken pit will make a fine prison.

That would kinda be cool if certain features are only available through mystery island tours. It would make the tours even more fun and worth it! And it would make searching for bushes more satisfying to do that wait at the mercy of Leif's stock day after day. Or waiting for a specific hibiscus bush in Tortimer's Island stock.

I believe so as well, it definitely would give Nintendo an avenue to introduce new stuff that you have to discover on your own and it also would give players the mean to acquire stuff ahead of normal unlocking. I feel like these randomly-generated islands opened pandora's box practically.

I'm not exactly worried, but I also think it's reasonable to think they might be gone.

Is everyone saying that they're just not shown because we need to unlock them first ignoring the fact that other features WERE shown despite clearly being later-game ones? (like the filled museum?or hell, just the museum in general)

I hope they'll be included. I think they might still be included. I do find the lack a bit strange, though, in an otherwise very developed look at the island, one month before release.

Doesn?t bother me too much if they aren?t available. But, I doubt it. The game looks great and I can?t wait for it. Maybe they could even have bushes as a seasonal thing? Would be strange but yeah.

In a game where we are given almost total control and freedom for creativity, why would they get rid of bushes?! While it's odd we haven't seen them in any footage or pictures, I honestly can't think of a reason why they would cut bushes, of all things! Lol.

I mean, in ACNL bushes aren?t even a thing until T.I.Y. is opened, unless another player shares with you early on. So it makes sense they haven?t shown them yet since we?ve only seen Nooks Cranny in gameplay footage. Plus the actual model of what they might be like is already in the game if you look at at screenshots of certain house upgrades we?ve seen so far. I?m sure when they show more trailers of developed towns bushes will make an appearance.
