Do you think there may be any new animal villagers

was wondering i'm sorta hoping for new type of species like probably something kinda cute like maybe a snail character or maybe an idea for an existing animal species but a cool design like how coco or kabuki look super cool i dunno something super interesting for the new animal crossing

Oh for sure they'll add new villagers I hope it'll be all the New Leaf villagers PLUS the new ones (maybe 50-100 new villagers) rather than replacing some of the old ones. And I think they'll add at least 2 new species!

I definitely expect new villagers, but whether or not we get any new species are up for debate. I hope we do.

I'm going with what Ossiran has said.
We for sure will get new villagers, and I do hope for a new species.
A snail villager would be really cute, and so would fruit bats. You never know what we could get next.
