Do you think this upcoming Wedding Season will feature Pete/Pelly/Phyllis?

I'd be pretty impressed with Nintendo if they thought to do this...

Not only would the characters make a reappearance, but we'd finally find out if Phyllis accepted Pete's advances, or if Pete realized Pelly was the one all along.

I didn't even consider that but would absolutely love to see it happen. I have the pelican sisters' amiibo cards and am waiting/hoping for the day Pelly and Phyllis (and Pete as well) are reintroduced in New Horizons.

LMAO...I think Shrunk at one point had a friend or possibly significant other...I believe his name was something along the lines of Frillard or Frizzard (without looking it up).

Oh that would be great if they did that (and maybe add a few more items like they did with bunny day). I honestly enjoyed doing the wedding photo shoot even though it did get repetitive. More themed photoshoots would be fun! I miss getting mail from Pete, so yeah I’d be happy if they did this too. Great idea!

It would be pretty amazing if they added them for Wedding Season. I never thought about that, but it makes sense. Would be even cooler if they allowed us to earn their framed photos as well.

Oh I completely forgot this is coming to be around the time last year the wedding season update came out. To be honest the wedding update defiantly had my favourite furniture items out of the other updates. I hope they bring new items and new missions to do and not recycle the DIYs/activity's like bunny day.

I just have a sweet spot for the cranky characters.

They could also bring back Reese and Cyrus and additional Baby llama (or alpaca? I forgot what these two are). Maybe have a baby photo shoot instead of wedding one.

They brought a bunch of relatives from previous characters , so it wouldn’t be weird if they added another llama.

As someone who didn't play AC before ACNH, I appreciate your explaining the dynamics of this group.

In the previous games, we had a post office where we could send mail to our villagers and other people. Pelly and Phyllis worked there. In the early daytime only Pelly appears, and she’s nice and bubbly. She talks at times about Pete ( the mail delivery guy). It seems she’s in love with him.
At night time though, the shift switched to Phyllis. Phyllis is usually mean to the character and complains a lot. She’s at times rude. She does not mention Pete at all. Pete the mail man is seeing walking around town delivering mail. If you stop to talk to him, he seems to mention Phyllis.
Story short, Pelly loves Pete, Pete loves Phyllis, Phyllis loves no one.

They have since removed these three replaced them with the dodo birds now.

It would be nice if we had to Pelican closure to the love triangle though.

I'd love to have Pete, Phyllis and Pelly back for a wedding season event, they're some of my most missed NPCs so this would be a great chance to bring them into the game and think it would be really sweet to have a wedding between Pete and one of the sisters.

That aside, Shrunk does indeed have a wife and kid. As told in New Leaf in his acts and dialogue. They aren't fans of his job/humor.
