Aside from benches and tables (outdoor), I probably avoid reusing items unless it makes sense to have them in a different spot. I'm very picky with every little detail in the island (everything is where it is for a reason, not just because it "looks good; if it doesn't make sense, it's not there).
Do you try not to reuse furniture?

I try not to but sometimes there are just no alternatives... For example, we have really no alternatives to the fountain apart from the drinking fountain which is smaller though. That said, when I reuse furniture, both outdoors and indoors, I customize it and try to create a different ambience so that it's not too visible that it's always the same piece of furniture.
