I first started watching live streams on YouTube two years ago, but now I mainly watch them on twitch. This past year/since COVID I've gotten really into watching livestreams, and I found myself watching live streams way more often than TV/movies when I want to sit down and unwind. I especially like watching streamers play games together (like the OTV group) because its really entertaining and feel more genuine than regular TV where everything is (obviously) scripted. I still enjoy watching movies once in a while but for now at least I prefer livestreams (or vods) since they are more engaging to me currently.
I also usually don't interact with others in the chat except for this one small streamer (vizuallyy) because his livestreams only get around 100/200 viewers and there is a nice little community.
