Do you wear a fitness tracker daily?

I’ve never really been interested in them, due to a combination of the price, and the lack of need. If I do need a rough estimate of steps during the day, I can use my phone.

I used to wear my fitbit daily, but the screen is so dark now I can only read it when it's pitch-black, so I wear a regular watch instead so I can tell the time now. Instead, I just wear it at night to track my sleep which I find very helpful! I can see how my sleep patterns have chanegd etc.

I had an Oura ring during the pandemic; they were doing a study with healthcare workers to see if it could detect COVID early, because in addition to being a sleep tracker, it would measure your basal body temperature. Anyway, it also in some way would check your movements during the day and send reminders about not sitting at your desk too long.

Anyway, I don’t have any wearable tech like that since the battery died on that thing, but I do carry my phone everywhere which has a step counter.
Also I play Pikmin Bloom, which uses that step counter feature of your phone, so I’m often trying to get some extra steps in! (I only shake my phone for steps in special days when we need to reach 10,000 steps and maybe I’m a bit short hehe). When I used to work in the hospital proper, I did a lot of walking and hit 10,000 without any problems, but now that I work in a clinic, I don’t always get quite as many steps in.

I recently got a fitbit and absolutely love it - I’m not super into fitness but I’m a data nerd so find it rly informative for little changes during my day to day

Some days I’ll burn 3,000 calories, other times I barely hit 1,500 - it doesn’t make me feel bad but it helps inform me on what to eat! Also love the sleep tracker and showing the quality of sleep, explains a lot of things lol

I sometimes do. I enjoy seeing the stats for how many steps, hours of sleep, heart rate data ect. But unfortunately every watch Ive ever used makes me break out where the metal touches the skin so I can only wear it for a max of 3 or 4 days a week

I used to wear a fitbit tracker a few years ago but sadly it doesn't work anymore, it stopped syncing with my devices probably because it's kinda old.

I've super recently started tracking my steps again using an app on my phone because I missed being able to keep track! I want to try to make sure I don't become too sedentary as the weather starts to get cold. The downside to using my phone though is I don't always have pockets to carry it in, that's one thing I really liked about using the fitbit.

no, i don't have one because i already know i don't take walks a lot haha. my phone already tracks my walking anyways, though i guess it's not the same as a fitness tracker.

I do! I own one of the smaller fitbits and I really love it. I like to wear a watch because knowing what it is is really important for my job and with the fitbit I get added benefits! I love seeing how many steps I've taken each day and the period tracking on the app is really handy.

i have a galaxy watch, but i dont track my fitness closely. i actually use it for sleep tracking and notifications more than heart rate, steps etc

I only started tracking my workouts this year. I don't reach for 10,000 steps or burn a thousand calories a day, but it's nice to see how many steps I take and how many calories I've burned every after workout session.

I wear it in the summer mainly as a watch, the step tracker is an interesting addition. But when the cold season comes and I start wearing long sleeves my band goes into winter hibernation.
