Do you wish Isabelle could let you know when there’s special visitors on the Island?

i think it would be great. it would save me time searching for the visitor and it would be far more useful than hearing about her finding a sock again. i think that there should only be announcements if there is in fact something to announce. call me crazy.

I'm actually against it, I like to find the visitors on my own and can also turn to my neighbors to tell me if needed. But if it comes true, I hope they make it sound natural the way the different personalities do.

What I would be interested in, is getting more cute things for her to say. More random stuff that makes her more adorable than she is and bring even more life. Like, add a dialogue about how she wanders around the island but she is so sneaky no-one notices her, tell us about that time that Tom Nook fell asleep on his laptop and had a 75 pages long document on word consisting of only the letter "a", spill the tea on how Orville was seen stockpiling medicine because a certain resident can't stop looking for tarantulas, etc. Just little and dumb things, no true "gamey news". Your personal life is the real news on a deserted island with 15+ residents.

I do like this idea, it would give more things for her to talk about during the announcements. Especially if they go in the route of just hinting at who is visiting.

If not during the announcements, I'd like for it to be an option on her side of the residences' counter. It would act just like the feature Copper and Booker had in previous games (if they ever do come back, I doubt they'll serve the exact same purpose this game, so might as well give the feature to Isabelle).

Yes, I love Isabelle but if the game is going to force having new-day announcements on you, at least let them be useful? I actually wish they would do away with the daily announcements altogether and only do announcements on special days.

i'd absolutely love if Isabelle gave us more in her announcements than just the TV she's been watching, but also part of me likes the surprise of finding the visitor of the day. perhaps if she gave us a general idea of 'oh! there's someone set up on the plaza today' or 'we have a visitor wandering around the island, be sure to say hey if you see them!' then people get the varied message while still having the surprise of who it is
