Where in City Folk where Resetti deletes your town after 50 resets? At first, I thought this was true, then I realized that it was a fake. I would be scared if this was real and in New Leaf.

I think I know how the video was made. Someone probably filmed what happens after you delete your town, films the dialogue where Resetti "resets" the game as a joke, and compiles it together. I believe that's how he made it.

Who would actually think that Resetti can delete your town if you reset too much? That sounds like a scary urban myth to me.

Actually, I heard in the European version (not sure which country) of City Folk, "Let's Go To The City," Resetti actually resets your game.

I kinda believed that this was fake. I think someone made that video because of a rumor where you lose a saved game after every reset in the GameCube Version (I'm not sure if this is real).

I've resetted must be a hundred times in GC and one time Resetti DID reset my town---or so I thought. It went to black for a few seconds, and then Resetti was back yelling at me about how scared I must have been. So I don't think he actually ever rests anyone's town!

I have that version and I can confirm that it isn't true.

What if Resetti actually deletes your town on the next game? That would actually be a terrible punishment for you.

This might come from the game cube version where Resetti chews you out in different ways. In one of these scenes he pretends to reset your town.

Well I know this for a fact. Even if he doesn't delete your town in the European version, there was a disclaimer that he is considered scary for little kids.

Resetti is like one of the most creative ideas from a developer. How could they tell that you didn't save your game in the first place?

I think the game saves in pairs--once when you start the game up and again when you quit. The next time you start the game up it checks for both saves. Either that or it saves in a different way when you quit. Or I'm making this all up (I totally am because I don't REALLY know).

He blacks the screen out- just like in the original, but doesn't actually reset your game, making you lose everything- video editing can make you think it does on a youtube video, but keep in mind not everything you see on the camera is for real!! ;)
