Does Bad Luck Have To Do With Pings?

I've only been getting pings from my favorite villagers to move out and I wanted to know if good luck could possibly get someone to move?
Please say yes.. I'm gonna cry because I just missed Coco for the 7th time and I'm so desperate..

Not that I'm aware of. It probably doesn't have anything to do with it, and its so random that it would be impossible to find out unless Nintendo stepped forward and confirmed it.

you've been getting move out pings from your favorite villagers because villagers you have a good friendship with are the ones who want to move out the most. I don't think luck has anything to do with it.
