I don't mind what native fruit I get, maybe I'd prefer oranges. BUT NH peaches make me so uncomfortable. Like. Theres no point at the top of the peach like there used to be in NL... its just... round and squat

Fruit is more personal preference I think. For me, I am hoping to get oranges on my island for the color, since it will go with my theme/aesthetic

It’s just an aesthetic thing. Many people, including myself, kind of see their native fruit as “representing” their island, and that causes them to want a specific one.

I really want apples -- they've always been my favourite, followed by cherries. I actually don't understand the pear hate, they look wayyyy better than peaches. I *hate* peaches in AC, haha.
