You know, I've always been wondering to myself why I usually NEVER feel hot. In some occasions I do. But even if it's 90 degrees, I wear a ski-jacket and jeans 24/7 (I think it's a ski jacket) and I usually never sweat it out besides exercising in the gym at my school. (When wearing PE clothes, which are a shirt and shorts)

Another question while I'm at it and bored...

I'm in bed right now, trying to sleep, but my nose keeps getting clogged and snot is almost dripping out of my nose. I have to constantly go to the restroom because of this to blow the heck out of my nose. It usually only happens when I'm about to sleep or I wake up in the morning. It's frustrating.

Any reasons why for both questions? Thanks in advance.

For the not being hot, it could just be that you're acclimated to the heat. I know people who move to different regions who will wear shorts in 40 degree weather because they grew up somewhere colder, and people who bunch up when it's 80 out because they're from somewhere much hotter, so it's most likely just that you've acclimated to the heat.

As for the running nose, it could just be because you're laying down, does it happen when you lay down on the couch or bend over? Nasal passages are known to dump out when in the right position for it. It's usually called "post nasal drip." If it happens constantly you might have something wrong that you should bring up with the doctor.

If both of these are things that have only just recently started happening, then you might be sick, in which case, you should also see the doctor.

1 you're lucky! wow i'm dying at 68 F

2 i sort (?) of get that too but my nose doesn't drip. whenever i lie down my nose always get clogged and it doesn't go away until I stand up. it makes it super hard to get to sleep everyday but it's been happening for years

1. I'm honestly always hot XD Lol my hands will literally just start getting red and sweaty out of no where (especially if I'm exercising) and when my friends accidentally touch my hand, they marvel at how hot my hands are T^T. I live in a place that's pretty hot though, so I'm that person who wears shorts in 40 degree weather because it feels good to me XD

2. It sounds like a sinus infection maybe? When you're in the shower, let the hot water run on the bridge of your nose and massage the side of the bridge of your nose/ cheek area to loosen up your sinuses :D

Edit: Just read your post again, and if your nose is runny, it may not be a sinus infection cx I still recommend the shower thing though :3

I typed your symptoms into the thing up here, and it says you could have network connectivity problems

I'm typically chilly too, especially in winter, but then again we keep the thermostat at a solid 70/72 degrees so that might be it lol. Sometimes low blood pressure has something to do with having chilly extremities - fingers and toes - and I have a mild case of that. Maybe try exercising more? Exercising usually helps you stay warm even after you've stopped actually exercising.

My nose is 99% of the time clogged, so I understand your frustration - it's less often runny for me though. (I have this sneaking suspicion that I'm taking in less O2 than I ought, although O2 blood tests always show 98% for me.) I've just had to deal with, but when it gets bad I use the medicated nasal spray, which works like a charm. It does clog you up again if you keep using it though. Judging from what your saying though, I think you probably have a cold or are just congested this time of year. Does it happen often? Maybe you could see a clinic.

I honestly don't remember when was the last time I've ever visited a doctor for a check-up. The only times I got checked for sicknesses was when I was in middle school,
and I would go to the nurse.
She would then call my dad/brother to pick me up, but they tell me on my phone to ride home with my bike. Its frustrating when my dad tells me, because he says "he doesn't have room for the bike" in the car, so I have to bring it home myself. (Me riding a bike home sick, you can see where that goes)
When I get picked up by my older brother, it's a very different story. When I get home, sick, (usually very painful migraines) my older brother complains that I should have just sucked it up for the day because It was a waste of gas.
Now that I think about it, i wonder how I've been living through these years of neglect.

FYI I haven't been sick recently, I only feel overheated in bed sometimes, and I've (thankfully) never had any migraines for the past month. I've also never been coughing.
