Dragon Quest 7 and 8

Anyone else hyped for these games? Personally, I'm more excited to play these than the other big RPGs of 2016 like Final Fantasy or Persona. I've been waiting ever since 7 was announced for it to finally come out in English.

I played a rom of the original version of 7 a long time ago, but didn't get very far in it, considering its like a 100+ hour game. Only got about 20 hours in it, but from what I played, the story was really good.

I played 8 a bunch of times, but never actually beat it. I'll finally get around to it now that its on my favorite console.

I'm excited for both. 8 was the first game that I played in the main series (I'd played Monsters 1 and 2 before), and it got me hooked on the series, so I'm really looking forward to playing it again. I'm also gonna play the hell out of 7 though.

Dying to go ahead and pre-order them, so I'm not tempted to spend my eShop credit on anything else! xD

I'm looking forward to 8. It was the first one I played, so there's nostalgia for that one in particular.


I'll more than likely end up getting 7 as well, but it's way less of a priority. I'm still trying to get a few of the DS releases.

DQ VIII was the first I played and finished in the series so I can't wait to play that again. I miss Yangus (ey, guv!) and GRANDAD! lol

My dad is pretty hyped, I'm just meh. We found the original DQ XII at a thrift shop along with a ps2 and another game for 100$, got it. Quite zee rare game
