So I have been watching an anime series and i'm almost done with it, (On last episode) and I decided I wanted to try my hand at drawing some anime. I'm working on some basic stuff like eyes and such, but I wanted to see if there was any tips someone could give me. Thank you so much!

Also if anyone knows anime like "Golden Time" PLEASE TELL ME!!!

The best way to git gud at drawing anime is to learn the fundamentals and basics of realistic drawing first, and then stylize.

man just buy some of peter gray's amazing how to draw manga artbooks

you're sure to learn a lot

no but seriously its basically all in the eyes, anime tend to use realistic proportions and then the trademark "anime-style" eyes. every anime artist has a unique style of eye though, so just pick your favorite style and do your own thing with it. i suppose some other notable features are very small button noses that are sorta just tiny little angles on the face, simple mouths, thin necks.. and then below the neck its realistic proportions. another thing is the lack of fingernails, but some anime artists draw them with fingernails, so thats your choice.

other anime such as panty and stocking or shin-chan have very stylized proportions, so to bracket anime into a simple style is to generalize quite a lot, but i get what youre asking here.

Yeah. Don't start out drawing anime immediately- start with how to draw proportions and bodies realistically and add some s00per sparkly eyes, a small nose and small lips. Bam.
