Did anyone hear about this? The earthquake hit the town of Amatrice in the central part of the nation, where the town was nearly completely reduced to rubble.

I heard about it in school while I had a geography class.. Seems kinda fitting as we were talking about earthquakes and volcanoes.. :'D

i read it a while ago & saw it on the news this morning. what a tragedy. :/

On the same month and day that happened to LA in California in 2015? Wow, that's gotta be awful.

I hope they recover soon! :( It's times like these where I'm thankful I've never been involved in any natural disasters.

oh no my home country
was it broadcast in the news? I haven't seen anything yet on my tv

It's being reported on a lot here in Europe. Not sure about overseas.
Death toll is currently at 247, and still a lot of people are missing. Truly sad.
