EDM Festivals?

I know I can't be the only EDM lover on this forum.

Anyone else here go to festivals? Which ones have you gone to? Who's your favorite artist? What festivals are on your bucket list?

I've gone to Lights All Night 2014 and 2015 (Dallas, TX). I went to Something Wonderful 2015 (also Dallas) for about an our and a half before it was cancelled due to weather. Because of that, I got free tickets to Something Wicked 2015 (Houston, TX), which was ALSO cancelled due to weather, and because of that, I got free tickets to Something Wonderful 2016, which was last Saturday, and it was COMPLETELY AMAZING. I loved every second of it. Probably my favorite festival that I've been to so far. <3

My dream festivals to go to are Electric Daisy Carnival in Vegas, Electronic Forest, TomorrowWorld, UME South Padre, and Ultra.

I absolutely love EDM with every inch of my body. When I'm at a festival, I am literally in heaven. There is never a dull moment. I'm constantly smiling. I love the music, the lights, the vibes, EVERYTHING. There isn't anything I'd rather do, honestly.

I definitely plan on going to this year's Something Wicked and Lights All Night. I'm going to try to go to Imagine in Atlanta, GA. Hopefully I can go because I reeeeeeeally want to and it would be my first 3 day festival. <3

I've never been to a festival (no friends) but I've been dying to go to EDCLV, TomorrowWorld, Beyond Wonderland, Electric Forest (EF more than anything), and Escape. I don't like EDM as a whole, but I love trance and hardstyle and some songs in other genres. I really hate dubstep and trap. Electric Forest is my dream festival. It looks amazing and I'd totally go by myself but I hate camping. So if there was a way to go to EF by myself and not sleep in a tent, I'd be all for it. There's a festival in Chicago this year called Foreverland that I really want to go to, but I don't have a ride.

EDM is a broad range of genres, not a genre itself. Which EDM genres do you like?

Electric Forest and EDCLV are the two I want to go to more than any of the others! I'll probably go to EDC next year if I can afford it and then try to go to EF. UME is pretty up there because it's a festival ON THE BEACH!! Like how amazing is that?!?

Lol I've always thought of EDM as a genre with different branches. I don't have any specific favorites but I've listened to a fair amount of them.

This post is so old but I'm happy to say I did live my dream of going to EDC Vegas and UME South Padre and I'm going to Electric Forest this year <3
