We're going to have a lot of reviews coming in now as the embargo seems to have passed. Please keep postings of new reviews popping up to this thread instead of making a billion new ones! Thanks.

Feel free to discuss the reviews in this thread too.

The Telegraph - 5/5 Stars

GameExplain - No Rating Yet (Part 1)

Joystiq - 4.5/5 Stars

There's also a video review from The Ranting Robots, but that one appeared on May 30th 2013, before that embargo was lifted up. It got 8/10.

I'm not going to list their review. From what I can tell, their "reviews" are created solely from information they see online before release. They haven't actually played it. I've noticed this with a number of other games they've done too. (cough Luigi's Mansion 2 review on Mar 10, 2013) There's no way Nintendo would keep sending them early copies if they were clearly breaking embargoes consistently like this.

If you can find me solid proof stating otherwise, then I would be happy to include them but again, from what I can tell they're bull****ting. It's dishonest of them to do it and they don't deserve any more publicity if it's true.

EDIT: Okay... that kind of came out as a bit of a rant. Don't take it the wrong way, I'm mad at them, not you! :p

Doing a google search, so not really thoroughly looking, GameSpot gave it a 9.5 / 10

Hmm... When I click on the site, it doesn't appear, but yet it does on the google search o_O

But, like I said, it wasn't thoroughly that I looked so it could be a possible cached version. image.jpg from my phone, link says N/A but you can see google says otherwise.

That GameSpot "review" you found out isn't one. That score came out from users score, actually.

Didn't really find it. I was browsing ACNL stuff on google and that popped up. Didn't notice it wasn't official. Whoops.

My god! Blood running from my ears after hearing those so-called robot ranters! Couldn't focus on what they were saying at all! Sounded like a bunch of gibberish. In other words all I heard was blahblahblah...
I agree with them not being official reviewers and that they don't deserve any games they review early if at all unless they actually play them... Somehow they just didn't seem that interested in AC:NL anyway from what I heard. Unlike Mayor Joshy who was actually enjoying playing the game to show to viewers as a positive review. People like him deserve the game since he enjoys playing so much. These ranters... No way.

I think the Joystiq review got taken down, the link just goes to the front page. I even searched Animal Crossing on the website, the review was in the results, but clicking just went to the main page, too.

Yea. I just spent about 15 mins trying to find it.

Here comes more reviews! The game is receiving more than 80% in average for now. Wait until GameSpot bashes the game so badly, which might attract some more trolling. :p

Derrik J, Lang of UT San Diego was playing it wrong. Sounds like he tried to collect fruit in a dream town and was disappointed when he couldn't bring it back to the real world. I don't think he understands that you don't HAVE to obey every suggestion by the villagers and you could just play at your own pace.
I also think 3/5 would be an average rating for anyone who isn't really into Animal Crossing, so I'm not to bothered by the score. It's just how he explained how he played.

And in response to the PC Mag review: If New Leaf isn't a massive change, then I don't know what is. Assuming you're sticking to the Animal Crossing formula, and if not, then it isn't Animal Crossing anymore.

Everyone on IGN is complaining that Audrey Drake's opinion is biased. I remember she said she didn't like City Folk, so I agree with her score. She liked the changes.
