EV/IV and "Natures"

Chaining worked for me.
I have around 3 shinies.
My favorite is shiny Metagross.

I've got a shiny Flygon, Wailord, Spinda (ugliest thing ever) and Mightyena. All legit and found in the wild without chaining.

I also saw a shiny Makuhita but it used Whirlwind >_<

And I traded a shiny Kricketot I found for something.

man i have tried chaining but it is sooooo dang hard! to actually get like 50 in a row i think my highest is like 20! its hard!

So, breeding/natures have nothing to do with EV training, then? That has more to do with "IV"?

When a pokemon egg hatches, it get's a nature and an IV in every stat.

EV training is a way of actually training the pokemon.

If a pokemon has a good IV in the stat it's being trained in, you'll beat the crap outta people.

If you've got the time (and can stand the boredom) you should IV breed.

Basicly, whenever an egg hatches it get's given six number (one for each stat) from 0 to 31. For every one IV, the Pokemon get's an extra point in that stat at Lv100.

you can't IV train lol but it helps EV training i think (gain more stats i think :S) but you need IVs a certain way if you plan on using hidden power

You'd be surprised how many people breed for good IVs and natures then EV train.
