Yep, Justin said it can be utilized for Historic Scenery as of now in the event thread! The scenery itself won't be sold on its own until a later date when released alongside other beach collectibles, but it's an option for the Historic Scenery in the meantime.

I’m actually wondering. Will the next Egg Hunt event introduce new eggs, or will they introduce new types of Easter collectibles, such as baskets and bunny plushies? It’s been a tradition to release decorated eggs each year, but I’m looking for something new.

maybe someday the staff will bless us with their creations turning into permanent collectibles.. haha april fools right staff? real eggs for the egg hunt one year that get permanently morphed into your chaotic creations instead of the other way around? a girl can dream..
Will the beach background collectibles be available for buying soon? I forgot if it was ever announced or it's just in the shop for historic bg purposes. I would love to buy some new beach bgs to match with the rereleased popsicles from this april event c:

I came by here wondering and intending to ask the same. It seems like they ought to be available now that the Ice Cream Coins have been distributed.

The Beach Scenery seems to be the most highly requested of the remaining ones we haven't released yet, so I've added it to the Shop and it will now be available for use with Historic Scenery!We won't have it for regular purchase in the Shop though until a matching collectible is being sold, per usual.

though im wondering now if the beach sceneries are gonna be sold now that the ice creams are temporarily for sale? :0 cuz this announcement was before the april fools' announcement so i cant tell if theyre intending to stock up the beach sceneries
