Wait a minute. Huh I don’t understand how that worked

The perfect snowman is about about keeping the perfect ratio difference between the Body and Head. So there are several different sizes theoretically possible. Most players will typically go the route of making the largest perfect snowman possible as they aim to make the body the largest it can be.

One method is rolling the body for 17 seconds and the head for 12 seconds. This is known as the 17/12 method. I aimed to shrink that, and I seem to have did it with 9 seconds for the body, and 6 seconds for the head.

And here I am, wondering why I always tried to make a big snowboy when a smaller one with such a method works much better and also costs less time to make. Then again, I didn't even know that small snowboys are a thing until I read about it in another thread here, I thought you have to make big ones in order to get DIYs... Gonna try this out later since I still need some of the Frozen DIYs, I forgot to make snowboys for the past days, as I was busy working on my island. 😅

Omg he's so cute! Might try that! The only is my island is kinda lacking grass/snow area..lol

Delightful! I love your little friends!!! At this point eyeballing it gives me the most success (I make the bottom as big as possible, and when I ask myself if the head is too small, it's usually the right size). I wonder if I can eyeball a little guy!

Large snowboys are more forgiving with small variations in head and body size. You can roll one snowball up to max size without having to worry about getting the size right. I'm 20/20 using the ear method, so while it's slightly more time consuming, it's still reliable. I'm not good at counting seconds, so I don't think I'd be able to get the small snowboy method down consistently.

I wonder what the smallest snowboy possible is. It seems like the body:head time ratios are about 3:2, so could something like 3:2 or 4:2 work? It may be so precise that a whole number of seconds won't work, but I imagine it's theoretically possible.

Wow! I had no idea that you could make them smaller than the max size o:
The small snowboy looks super cute!

He is so tiny and cute omg 😭💕 I want to try and make him! He’s adorable and will be the perfect size to go along with my villagers aaaah 🥰💕 I hope I get it right ☃️

That small perfect Snowboy is the most adorable snowman I've ever seen before! I didn't even know it was possible to make such a small perfect Snowboy like that in ACNH until I watched the video. I'm excited to give this perfect Snowboy method a try sometime before the Winter season ends on my island!

he's adorable! once I've actually gotten all the frozen DIYs I need (still a work in progress rip) then I'm probably going to play around with the snowboys more since I won't be filled with as much rage if I'm "so close!"

Yeeeessss I love the tiny snowboys! I made one as well on a lark and I was shocked that it turned out perfect. I haven't been able to do it again since. They're so much less in the way than the monster-sized ones.

wow! so cute 🖤 🥺
i still haven't made a perfect one, so i am in awe of your snowboy skills 🙏
