Fastest way to make a villager leave

I am interested in making some of my villagers leave... However I am not too sure on how to do that. So my question is how do you get villagers you don't like to leave? Or what's the fastest and or easiest way to get them to leave?

i heard that it's to absolutely ignore them. don't talk to them. ever. no interactions.

I find that when I talk to a villager a lot, when it's moving period in my town (with 9+ villagers) they will ask to leave.

For the ignoring technique, I think you've got to ignore them from the day they move in -- it should be about 3 weeks until they leave.
If you've already talked to them, I think it takes about a month.

Will the one invited from campsite harder to move out? as in using the move in and ignore trick

From my current experience with cycling villagers,
when you befriend a villager they'll request to move more often.
I already cycled out 5 unwanted villagers in 6 days.

Besides, if you don't talk to them they won't ping you. and the pinging
is necessary for you to know. and you'll need to talk to them anyways
to ensure that they FOR SURE will be moving.

Well there's a non TT trick of creating a new character into your town, talking to the villager once using this character and then after that ignoring said villager, while logging in atleast once a day on that character. From what I've heard it takes like a week or two. There's always TTing too, which is pretty easy once you understand exactly how it works, but at first you might accidentally box up a villager that you want to keep.

What's the TT way to do it and does it mess up your town?

Well, I usually time travel and then I clean the weeds by going to the Gardening Store. A villager says that they are leaving OR they are in boxes.

I find that talking to the villagers makes them move more quickly than ignoring them. They'll eventually move if you ignore them, but in my experience it takes a little longer.

one time i was having a HARD time getting felicity to move.
someone posted somewhere to just ignore the villagers you wish to move, so i did. i ignored her and talked to everybody else.
within 1-2 weeks (in-game), she moved out. this took about maybe 20 minutes IRL time.

i suggest ignoring them and talking to everyone else. if no one seems to be pinging, then talk to the villager you were ignoring, timetravel an hour or two ahead, and see if they ping you to move ~

i find that villagers that have been in your town longer ping you to move more often.
