Redd is my favorite, I just love foxes in all shapes and he's a good boy, even if he wants to scam me LOL. A kiss for that ****boy.
Least favorite is Label. Once you've unlocked her clothing set, she's pointless, really ... I also don't like plaza - locked visitors, and she doesn't have a lot of interesting dialogue.
Runner up is how obnoxious it is to buy things from Sahara. The sheer amount of dialogue is like. Ohhhhh my G O D, just let me have my stuff good b y e.
I like Redd the most because he's such a sly character.
Kicks and Label are somewhat tied for me at the bottom. Kicks because I hardly buy anything I want from him. He needs more unique and interesting items in his catalog. Kicks as a character is cool though. Label because she's kinda bland in this game. But I actually like the theme challenge and the free tickets.
I love Flick! I'm a lizard fan in general, but I think Jackson Chameleons, which he's based off of, are especially cool with their horns. Flick's curved tail is so adorable, and I love his character design and his artistic nature. He looks so calm and cool, but inside is totally obsessing about bugs and I find his dialogue hilarious. I also really like that he doesn't just eat all the bugs I'm giving him.
I can't see any NPC and then just walk by, I always have to interact and get the reward. Because I'm like that, my least favorite NPC is Wisp. I always seem to end up finding him at 1 am or something when I'm already tired and getting ready to stop playing and go to bed soon. Then I'm stuck trying to find all 5 pieces even though I'm utterly exhausted and it feels like it takes forever. Plus his rewards aren't exclusive to him like with the other NPC, it's just a random piece item I could have found another way when I was more awake. It's not till very late game when I'm only missing a few things that he comes in handy. Plus I feel a little sad that I'm always scaring him. It makes me feel like I'm being mean to him. And even if he's annoying, he's just so cute, and I don't want to leave him all torn to pieces.
it’s kind of funny how your favourite is kicks and your least favourite is saharah as my favourite is actually a tie between the two of them! prior to the update, i was really close to having complete socks and rug catalogs, so i always got excited whenever kicks or saharah was visiting as that meant there was a possibility i would get a pair of socks or a rug i needed that day! i’m not as close to having those catalogs complete as i used to be, but i still get excited whenever they visit my island!
as for my least favourite, it’s definitely c.j. i don’t dislike him as much as i used to now that i’m commissioning fish models from him, but i still find his dialogue and personality annoying.
I love flick! I like being able to get the bug models… but I absolutely love their aesthetic! If I could have them as a villager, I totally would.
Plus, idk if anyone else sees this but they come off as gender-fluid to me.
Least favorite- Label. I like her story and all, but I avoid interacting with her because I don’t B particularly like the rewards you get from doing her tasks. Just not worth it to me.
Kicks is adorable. He's always fun to talk to, whether I end up buying or not.
Least favorite is Daisy Mae. I can't say I mind her personality much, but the visual is just nope, go find a tissue. I don't know who thought a drippy-nose kid would be cute, but they must never have been around actual drippy-nose kids.
Favorites: Celeste, K.K. Slider, Pascal, Flick
Celeste - I love everything about her, from her unique DIYs to her personality and design. I wish she could stay permanently on the island with an observatory. Plus the way her eyes light up during shooting stars never gets old.
K.K. Slider - He's just so cool. I love the variety of his music and hearing him play his songs in the plaza. I like working towards getting all of his songs. Also, his dialogue is so chill!
Pascal - A bit similar to KK, he also walks(swims) to the beat of his own drum. I like hearing his pearls of wisdom, and the DIYs you can get from him are pretty.
Flick - If Flick was a real person I'd definitely want to be his friend. His personality feels so real and genuine. He's so passionate, but also has a mysterious side. He was the first one I invited via amiibo to The Roost. He brought CJ with him and it was so interesting to see different dialogue from them, and learn more about their lives outside of their visits to my island.
Least Faves: Wisp, Redd
Wisp - The dialogue is just too repetitive each time and it can get annoying to find his spirit pieces just to get an item that isn't even exclusive to him. I get that he's a ghost but he shouldn't get spooked so easily, lol.
Redd - I just want more art for my museum but most of the time he's scammin'. He's too bell-hungry, which could be said about Saharah too, but I feel that Saharah's dialogue is more charming. I like the way Saharah talks, but with Redd I feel like I wasted time if all his art for the day turns out to be fakes. Also, some would say that Tom Nook is bell-hungry too, but in NH he's really helpful and lets you do everything at your own pace. I know that in earlier AC games he could be more pushy with the debt.
I’m so sad so many people dislike CJ as a character. I really like him and I think he’s a positive person who is a good friend / bf (depending on your view) who talks up Flicks work. Also per Roost dialogue he’s close to his family and Nat is glad Flick has him to lean on haha. I get the influencer vibe can be annoying but at least he pays you unlike a lot of irl ones.
My dislike utility wise Sahara talks way too much when trying to do anything.
Labelle is my least favorite because she's pointless and so is Wisp and I only deal with Wisp for the Nook Miles.
I would say my favorite visitors are Celeste, Redd and Leif.
I see a lot of people don't like CJ. I personality think he's fine although I could do without the seaport challenge nonsense before I can sell stuff to him, but he and Flick give me more money for my fish and bugs and anyone who gives me more Bells is okay in my book.
I’ll pick Redd for my favorite—who can resist a kitsune “art” dealer?! There are many others I love for various reasons though.
Least favorite is an easy choice—CJ. I find both his personality and dialogue obnoxious. Seriously, Flick could do better lol
I totally agree with OP about Sahara though—her dialogue also rubs me the wrong way. I guess I don’t like her as a person, but still enjoy her as a character?
I hate Flick. His design just looks terrible to me and the way he talks really annoys me. I only ever talk to him to get bug models lol. I also don't like CJ, his challenges are ok but his constant talk about viewers seems so out of place and his rewards are a very mixed bag.
My favorite is Kicks - I've always loved his design and always got my shoes shinned in City Folk.
My least favorite is Gulliver - Just always found him annoying.
I think my favorite is Wisp! I think he's silly and cute, such a little goober. Also SPOOKY GHOST. My least favorite is probably Pascal (if he counts) but probably because recently whenever I find a scallop, he doesn't show up and it makes me sad. I don't know what I've done to make him avoid me
My favorite NPC is Flick. Love his design and personality, plus he's generally pretty useful to me still. My least favorite right now is probably Label, as she's just the least useful to me after v2.0 came out and I still have no reason to talk to her ever since I got all her clothing.
My favourite is by far Celete. She's just so pretty and sweet. And I love her space/astrology theme. My least favourite is the cops from New Leaf. Cops? In my Animal Crossing? Hard pass.
