Favorite book?

Water For Elephants was pretty good (too bad the movie sucked). I don't really have a favorite book, though.

I don't really have a favourite book, but I do have favourite authors ... I wish my favourite authors would write faster! *sigh* ... It's tough waiting for the next book!

❤️ I Love Elizabeth George (Inspector Lynley), Patricia Cornwell and Kathy Reichs for forensic science novels, Lee Child (Jack Reacher novels- read them all!) David Baldacci and Anne Rule ... List goes on! I like historical fiction too.
I read a lot on Kindle on my iPad ... I have read this month three novels already (eeps!) ...
My Notorious Life by Kate Manning - on historic midwifery in 1920s New York,
The Secret Daughter by Kelly Rimmer
Bittersweet by Colleen McCullough
and I just downloaded The Nightinggale by Kristin Hannah WWII historical fiction

I tend to binge read in the summer months ... I absolutely adore finding what I call a "good beach read"
I would love any reccomendations based on what you see I like ❤️

The Dharma Bums, by Jack Kerouac.

The Sun Also Rises, by Hemingway.

the first half of The Brothers Karamazov, by Dostoevsky, because i was never able to make more progress than the first half.

El Amor en los Tiempos del Colera, by Marquez (r.i.p.)

The Dubliners, by Joyce, even tho its a collection of short stories.

I swear we had a thread like this once.

Ah literature, It's so fun to indulge in such a travesty made by a brilliant mind!. Out of all the books I've read in my lifetime, my favorite has to be War Of The Worlds by H.G. Wells. Sci-Fi novels have been my favorite for a long time; especially this one since it tops my charts.

I really like The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, but I also love many of the books James Herriot wrote about his stories as a veterinarian.

The Thief of Always by Clive Barker is one of the few books in my recent memory that kept me reading 14 hours straight. I started and could not put it down it was so interesting to me.

my favorite book by far is the book thief by markus zusak !! it's heartwarming story placed during ww2, and i've been reading it from time to time again since i was about ten.
