Favorite book?

if i have to choose from the raven cycle series by maggie stiefvater it would be the raven boys, ahhh i love her characters so much im currently rereading the series since whenever i pick up a book that is not in the raven cycle i suddenly obtain the book slump :c

YES how could I forgET, this is my favorite series on the planet.

I don't necessarily have a top favourite, but "Carry On" by Rainbow Rowell, and "Beauty Queens" by Libba Bray, are both really fantastic. And "The Hunger Games" series was also pretty fantastic.

i went to a book store and bought this complete collection of Horrible Science. definitely one of my favorite book series even though its not meant for my age but whatever.

... this is such a hard question because i used to have so many favourite books that choosing one or just a few would be too hard, but now i barely read so all my favourite books are ones i loved years ago....

but i guess i really like the name of the wind by patrick rothfuss. i just love the books and they're really well written, without beinv over the top and "braggy" (hard to explain what i mean by this, but it's different from a lot of other fantasy books, it is incredibly well written, it's just beautiful and aaaa i love it !!!)

It's a tie between Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell and Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami for me. Both are fantastic books with memorable characters that really made me think. :)

a++ both really great books : D

Although I prefer other works by Haruki Murakami myself :3

I can't even decide to be honest, so I'll just go with my favorite classic which is Gone with the Wind

The Dharma Bums, by Jack Kerouac.

The Sun Also Rises, by Hemingway.

the first half of The Brothers Karamazov, by Dostoevsky, because i was never able to make more progress than the first half.

El Amor en los Tiempos del Colera, by Marquez (r.i.p.)

The Dubliners, by Joyce, even tho its a collection of short stories.

This Side of Paradise, by Fitzgerald, who wrote the most beautiful English language prose of all time.

From the Earth to the Moon, by Verne.

Donde Esta La Biblioteca ... but you have to say it in Steve Buscemi's voice Bwahahaha ... Been watching to much Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

I love a lot of books, but I don't think anything with beat the Harry Potter books for me. I grew up with them, and the books and movies are just so magical. It's better then Disney.

My favorite book (within the last year) HAS to be "The Hand That First Held Mine" by Maggie O'Farrell! It took a few chapters to get going but OH MY GOODNESS so good. Great but sort-of depressing ending.

Harry Potter, always!

Also like:
-The Hunger Games
-Percy Jackon
-The Fault in Our Stars
-The Summoning and The Darkness series by Kelly Armstrong
-The Maze Runner

- - - Post Merge - - -

-Percy Jackson**

Most definitely something by Stephen King, but I love so many of his books.
He did a short story that was published in the book 'full dark no stars', called 1922. That is such a dark and creepy story. Definitely a favourite. As for full story, that would probably be IT. Just an utterly terrifying book
