Favorite Cranky Villager?

I've had Octavian most recently but am ready for a new cranky, who do you guys have/like?

My absolute favorite is Cesar. Rocco is a very close second though. Crankies are my favorite villagers and it’s so hard not to have more than two.

I really like bear villagers in general, and there are quite a few cranky bears (e.g. Groucho, Grizzly) but I think Curt the bear is the cutest cranky! I also like Wolfgang the wolf and Apollo the eagle.

I've had Rolf for the longest time. He's my birthday buddy and he's a cool white tiger. But had to switch him out for a while so I can have Marlo, the mafia boss hamster. I also currently have Lobo, who is my favorite wolf.

I've also had so many cranky villagers in this game because I love a lot of them.

• Dobie is the best, because he's a grandpa wolf (but all cranky wolves are awesome and you'll never be disappointed).
• Buzz, the cranky eagle (buzzard actually) has a simple design but I think he really embodies that crankiness.
• Apollo is cool as always. He used to be my fave but I found Rolf.
• I also think Curt is adorable because of his head bandage. His house interior sucks, but that isn't an issue now if you have the DLC.
• Elvis is literally a lion king in appearance and in concept. Amazing.
• Murphy and Static are probably some of the cutest crankies I ever had. Tiny men with big booming voices.
• Groucho likes to play it cool (and he sings), though I still like Curt over him.
• I keep meeting Octavian when I'm island hopping so he got old in my eyes quick so I never got him.

I really am leaning towards a wolf and would love to have Dobie but i'm tired of island hoping lol...I do have Chiefs amiibo so maybe Ill try him, until my wolfgang amiibo shows up.

Rizzo is easily my favorite cranky, and my second favorite villager overall. Unfortunately he tends to be very disliked by a significant portion of the Animal Crossing playerbase from what I've noticed, so you might not like having him on your island.

As for wolf villagers, Chief is definitely my favorite of the cranky ones, and Lobo is a great one as well.

Chief is personally my favorite wolf. His house might be a little underwhelming to some people, but I think it works into the charm of him being an artsy fartsy type. Chief is the most Smug villager that isn’t a Smug.

my personal favorite is fang but honestly all of the cranky wolves are great choices, the wolves are always the first ones i look to whenever i wanna change to another cranky. i do think avery the eagle is super underrated tho

The great thing now after the update, If you have HHA, you can customize/redecorate his house. I just put him on my island and am not a fan of his house, I'll definitely be giving it a makeover.

My favourites are the cranky wolves, they're all great choices. Chief's house is ugly again though so I won't be inviting him until I unlock the ability to redecorate.

Static! He's my favorite villager.

Roscoe is another good one.

Fang, Cyd, and Murphy are my favorite crankies.

Chief and Butch are my favorite cranky villagers. They also both reside on my island. I would recommend either of them, especially Chief.

I like wolf crankies the best, with my all time favorite cranky being Wolfgang. I think I like all cranky villagers though, regardless of species. They're really easy to get along with and it's super cute seing them read or sing while I do my daily chores.

Static and Wart Jr.(seen above with their good pal Marshal)are my co-favorite cranky men.For crankies they always seem to be pretty happy.I also like Peewee and the new dog Frett.I've had Frett for only a short time but I already like him a lot.It must be the blocky eyebrows.

I don't have any cranky villager in my island, but I remember loving Fang in new leaf. ☺
