Which is your favorite Gen 2 Starter Pokemon?

I really like Totodile since such a cute little Pokemon which has a pretty cool evolution with Feraligatr in my opinion. I also like Cyndaquil. However, I'm not really a fan of Chikorita, since I find it kinda boring (same goes for it's evolutions).

Chikorita's line is actually my favorite of the Johto starters though I must say that Bayleef is the best of the group. I choose Cyndaquil because even though it's evolutions aren't too interesting, Cyndaquil itself is just too cute. My favorite stage 1 fire starter hands down.

I do like Totodile. But again, I don't really like it's evolutions. I use to find Feraligatr to be really cool, but now it just looks horrible to me. It's body proportions look really off. Like it's always hunched over. 3D models were not kind to it or Typholsion

Chikorita is my favorite starter of all, since silver was my first game. I love the other two, as well, but I know Chikorita is probably the least popular of the 3.

Chikorita is one of my favorite starters of all time and easily my favorite grass starter.

When I play soul silver I have them all on my team. But I love Cyndaquil and Totodile more, sorry Chikorita, but Chikorita can be such a tank pokemon~I see no loss whatever starter is chosen.

I love cyndaquil, even more so its evolution quillava. They're so cute and I normally choose them to play through with <3

My favorite of the three Johto starters would probably have to be Totodile. Totodile was the one I chose as my starter in Crystal and that was the last Pok?mon game I played until the release of HeartGold and SoulSilver because of a combination of peer pressure and that phase of growing up where you feel like you need to be more mature, though truth be told I would still play my Crystal save occasionally throughout those years until my return. As such, I have more affection for Totodile/Feraligatr than the other two just due to nostalgia. Though, I am quite glad that Feraligatr got Sheer Force as its Hidden Ability, that was awesome and helps it maintain its position on the top for me.

In the past few years I've come to appreciate Cyndaquil/Typhlosion more. Meanwhile, I've never really gotten into Chikorita, but I like the design of it and its evolutions and figure I'll use a Meganium on a team sometime soon to give it a fair shake. I used to be more of a blunt force "the best defense is a good offense" sort of player but I've gotten more into the competitive playstyle so I'm now more open to the more defensive Pok?mon.

Can't decided between Chikorita and Cyndaquil, but going with Cyndaquil for right now.

Going to go with Cyndaquil because it’s a fire starter.

Definitely Chikorita because it evolves into Meganium, my favorite Grass starter. Though some seem to find it boring, I really like its design.
