Favorite Hamster Villager

The hamster villagers first appeared in New Leaf and so far, we have a total of 9 hamsters, with one (Holden) being a Japan exclusive and was also only available via the campground's Wi-Fi option from February 1st, 2017 to May 1st, 2017, not being able to move into your town and
just being a visitor on the campground.

These little facts beside, I would like to know which hamster villager is your favorite and why.

I do like all hamsters actually, with Apple and Rodney being my all-time favorites, with the exception of Holden however, which I don't really like that much, mostly because of his design which is, sorry not sorry, just ugly. If there's a villager who you can call creepy, than it's him for sure.

Hamlet I suppose; there are not really any I specifically want in my town.

Second with this and totally agree! I don't see why anyone would hate Apple and my mom and I love her a lot! As for the other ones I do love Flurry, Graham, Hamlet, Hamphrey, and Holden. It took me awhile to like the others, but Apple and Flurry I fell in love with instantly. ^o^

I think all of the hamsters are beyond adorable, but my favorites are Hamphrey and Clay. Hamphrey is a cranky, which I love, and he spent quite a bit of time in Sakura before I reluctantly let him move to get some new faces in town. Clay is currently in Nocturne and I just adore him. His look is so unique and I love his house, too. I'd actually really like to pair up Coco and Clay together as neighbors someday. I think they would go perfectly together.

I currently have Hamlet in Sakura and he's wonderful, too, just not my favorite.

I actually really like Soleil. She was one of the starting villagers in TickTock and I'd never had a hamster in my town before, and I think her design is really cute!

 

[Halloqueen]

My favorite Hamster is definitely Soleil, and she doesn't really have much competition for that distinction either. Her design is the best of the Hamsters for me, her house's interior design is decent for the most part, and she has the Snooty personality, so she's pretty good all around for me. Never had her as a resident of a town as of yet, but maybe someday.

Second best Hamster for me is Clay. I don't really like him all that much to be honest, but I have to at least give acknowledgement to his dogu-inspired design since I appreciate unique villager designs.

Hamsters thus far are a pretty underwhelming species for me. I'm open to adding more Hamsters in future installments in the series, but as of right now they're pretty forgettable.

i picked flurry! she's cute, small, and winter themed (i actually despise winter irl but i love the aesthetics of it lol) which is 100% my thing. plus i find her little eyebrows so adorable. i actually quite like soleil too, and i think she makes a great counterpart to flurry! she's nice and warm-coloured and more adult-looking, they look like they could be sisters or something.

also can i just go on a tangent about graham, i hate that little dude he plotted in THE most inconvenient place in my new leaf town and took FOREVER to ping to leave, even while time travelling! an absolute menace 100%, take your little glasses and leave!! i also actually like, really dislike apple lmao. her face and personality combined reminds me of those people who are just too hyper and drain your energy out of you within like 5 minutes. plus i just don't find her cute, i'm surprised about how many people do but hey opinions are opinions.

Graham and his little glasses are adorable, and I like that he has a fairly simple design. Also like gyro I hate Apple, I find her very creepy.

I voted Flurry. I probably would have voted for Holden if he could actually live in your town. Apple is also really cute! The other hamsters are just meh.

I'm not really a fan of Hamsters, but I love Clay because of their very unique and amazing design. I could easily see them in one of my towns.

Hamphrey, the perfect hamster for sure.

Flurry is adorable too though, and I really like Clay unique design. The "special" looking characters are easy favorites !

While I love the idea of hamsters, and i think the body model they use is super adorable, I don't.... actually like the design of the majority of them. Idk, I just feel like Apple and Flurry are the only two 'cute' ones, with Apple being my favorite of the two. I hope they add more to NH!

That being said, though, if I were ever to get a hamster that wasn't one of those two, I'm sure they'd grow on me eventually. After all, if ugly Barold was able to grow onto me and become my second favorite cub, I'm sure someone who I find just 'meh' like Hamlet or Soleil could, too.
