Favorite Hourly Music Soundtrack?

it’s a tie between wild world & new leaf; ww’s soundtrack slaps and is incredibly nostalgic for me. but at the same time, i still really like new leaf’s soundtrack, especially the nighttime music c’:

WW's entire soundtrack is so nostalgic despite the fact I myself haven't even played the game.
NL's hourly songs are all so varied and immersive. I can vividly imagine the atmosphere of the outdoors (specifically the temperature for some reason...) within my town when I listen to the music as I play, that's how you know it's good.

New Leaf was my favorite soundtrack (7 PM was my absolute favorite) but the Gamecube version is a close second! Very original and funky.

I'm surprised that NL has the most votes considering how often I hear people saying that they didn't like it very much. For me, it's hard to choose between WW/CF and NL!

EDIT: Seems like a lot of people felt the same as me. I wonder if the poll had allowed us to pick multiple options if WW/CF and NL would've been closer in votes...

I like New Leaf's.
I think the 3DS game soundtrack would sound kinda out of place in New Horizons, since you aren't in a countryside city but on a tropical island. New Horizons soundtrack is fine, it's just not as calm and relaxing as past titles ones, in my opinion.
I like Wild World's too, but New Leaf soundtrack is the perfect mix between calm and catchy.

I also like some Happy Home Designer OST. Sometimes I don't even place a music player into villager houses, 'cuz I like this one so much.

I voted NL because it's probably the one I listen to the most since i find it the most relaxing, but WW/CF holds some hidden nostalgia that I really like. don't think I've heard the gc one (at least not in full) so maybe that'll be my background noise for today's schoolwork
(and 0 votes for NH.. unsurprised but I don't *hate* it)

for me it's between Wild World and New Leaf. both soundtracks have many fond memories to me and I adore both, so it's hard to choose. for the purpose of the poll tho I'm gonna vote NL.

1. Wild World/City Folk
2. Gamecube
3. New Horizons
4. New Leaf (unpopular opinion I know, but it's so dull to me!)

And yes, Wild World was the first game I played but nostalgia aside, the music is just so charming and fun to me!

it was so difficult to pick between WW/CF and NL but i went with WW/CF in the end because nostalgia i guess lol
NL music is still amazing (the music that plays when u pay off ur loan is lit) ♡

honestly at this point when i play ACNH, i turn the music off and listen to music in my headphones
NH music is so bad i can't even listen to it

also i've never played the gamecube version so idk what the music was like

City Folk is close to my favourite, but nothing will be better than New Leaf's soundtrack. The mood of the music fits the hours perfectly :]

It’s pretty much just based on nostalgia, but I voted WW/CF. I LOVE those games sooooo much. I’ve never played any of the games before Wild World, so I can’t really talk about those, but as for the newer two games- I like New Leaf’s. It’s less nostalgic for me, definitely, but it’s still pretty good. I’ve gotta be honest, I’m not a fan of NH’s hourly music. It’s grating to me, and it doesn’t really match the vibe of the game? Shoutout to the mystery island music though. That song slaps.

In my opinion, New Leaf has the best music. There's such a variety of moods in the music and it really immerses me in the game. I guess it's just so atmospheric to me.

i had to vote NL but WW’s soundtrack is SO good and CF’s soundtrack always makes me nostalgic. NL though.. that’s on a whole nother level, something about it just always brings me back and im always wanting to listen to it any time of time, it just hits different
