Favorite Monkey Villager

I'm curious and would like to know which monkey villager is your favorite and why.

Honestly, the only monkey I actually kinda liked for a while was Champ, who's last appearance was in City Folk. Now since New Horizons came out, I started to like Elise more, who was in the previous games for me more a villager I strongly disliked, but she's not that bad as I always thought after all. Actually, she's now a favorite of mine after I was able to get to know her better. Otherwise, the monkeys are one of my least favorite species to be honest, mainly because their designs (with the exception of Champ and Elise) are not appealing to me that much.

Monty is my favorite. I had Monty, Nana and Tammi all in my town at the same time once. I liked them all, but Monty wins out because of his cranky personality. If I remember correctly, Monty was also the first villager to give me his picture.

My favorite Monkey villager would probably have to be Elise. Most people don't seem to like her, but her glasses and lips make for a unique look and she stands out the most for me.

My second favorite is Tammi, thanks to her neat red eyes.

I still need to scan my Tammi amiibo card in, but once I do, I'll have both Elise and Tammi living in my hybrid circus/magic show-themed town. While I was brainstorming which villagers to have living in the town and thinking of circus roles, I figured they would make for a good pair of trapeze performers.

Simon I would think. I like my lazies and something about that red looks nice on him and goes with his expression.

i love nana and champ! they're basically just recolours of each other so no surprise there really. nana's cute and pink and champ is just a regular adorable little monkey which i love. i like that their designs are both simple too.

I've never had any monkeys in my towns but I really do love Shari's design over the other monkeys. She's precious!

I like all the monkeys except for two, Monty and Flip. I don't mind the monkeys and some of their designs are pretty great! Simon I'm really fond of because he has been in my towns a lot. Plus, he's pretty nice and his lazy personality fits him to a T. Elise I really like and I feel bad that she's hated so much because of her big lips, which I don't find ugly at all. Shari is another favorite uchi of mine besides Fuchsia and Deirdre. I have Shari's Amiibo card and so far she's been pretty great! The other monkeys I like because of their design and colors. Personalities fit them well too.

Elise is too weird looking to not have in my town.She looks like a receptionist for a big law firm who went crazy with the collagen injections.I also have Deli and Monty and they've been fun villagers so far.

I have a weird soft spot for Tammi. She was a random move-in in my second town and I just fell in love with her.

I love Simon. He has like a red color around his eyes, its cute. He looks basic and simple. :3

Deli is by far the best-looking monkey on the list I looked at! I love how his shirt goes with his ears and his cute smile. I think he might have been one of the cutest villagers I have ever seen. Flip I have had in my town before. I think he was one of my starting villagers but I got him out of Una as quick as possible because he was ugly and I hate jocks. Another reason why I liked Deli is that he is a lazy and they are my favourite male villager personalities.

I really like monkey villagers, but I haven't got any to move in yet. I picked Champ as my #1 favorite, since he resembles Porter a lot and for a while there were rumours that Champ and Porter were one and the same.

Second favorite is Flip. I dunno why, but I like his design a whole lot and he reminds me of Mido from Ocarina of Time.

My third Favorite would be Nana a) because she's pink and b) because Nana is a a cute name

Deli has a cute goofy look to him that I really like

and I like Simmon and Tammi for their unique design

And Shari I pick as my 6th favorite maybe

There's a lot of interesting monkey villagers, it's just rare to get any to move in to your town it seems (or at least in my town I have yet to see one move in.)

Champ. He’s basically a representation of the Wild World/City Folk era, as he was the only villager to be introduced in those games to not return in New Leaf.

It does seem like people don’t talk about the monkey villagers often. I wonder why.

Shari is my favorite monkey villager. She's really cute and she seems unique compared to the other monkey villagers. Second would be Deli.

Elise... her big and bright pink glasses and heavy makeup is just so funny and adorable. I'm not a monkey fan at all, but let's say it's the one I hate the least!

i never liked any monkey but then i invited nana to my camp and i fell in love with her and she hasn't left since, she's super cute and i love the bright pink, it's super fun dressing her up, she works with a lot of my aesthetics lol
