so the side to side mv was just released and i am hype because this is my favorite ari song PLUS nicki is in it???? queen + princess????? (note: has some like. sexual imagery i guess??)

but that made me think about music videos in general, and i was curious as to other peoples favorites? i love watching music videos, im shocked when people havent even watched the MVs to their favorite songs! its always the first thing i do when i listen to a great song. sometimes a song is **** tho but the mv is so good. its too hard to pick a favorite, but heres a music video i really like thats very interesting

It's definitely one of Kyary's more normal music videos but I just think it's really cute and I adore the song. It's nice watching her change from each outfit that she used in her music videos (feels kind of nostalgic). And she's really adorable!

This is such a great song and video. For anyone that's really confused by it, it's supposed to be about how dumb and overly sexualized music is these days, which is why it's called Windowlicker.

Oh, and it's pretty inappropriate at the beginning (bad language and stuff), so if you're at home with your family, turn it down xD

this one isnt necessarily the original music video, but i love this video so much! its very beautiful. the song suits it very well. it makes me feel almost nostalgic for a life i didnt live.

My favorite music video is Miley Cyrus - Wrecking Ball. Who doesn't love watching a former kid star licking a sledgehammer and riding a wrecking ball, naked. But for real, my favorite music video is from that "Take on me". I'm not a big fan of the song but the video is so fascinating in my opinion.

Yes!! This song / video is amazing. Chris Cunningham directed MVs are always such a trip. One of my fav songs MV also directed by him:

sharing another with yall i figured id put my interpretation of it

i feel like the family jewels has several songs that has to do with the desire for fame and the many feelings the climb for it can put you through, and mowglis road is basically a huge pun on the term "fork in the road" with all the cutlery puns and ****

i think the song is her singing and mocking herself, criticizing herself. i think its the voice inside of her telling her to listen to others and crumple under her insecurities in regards to her future. as for the music video, i think the paper arms/legs/waist represents her feeling controlled and stretched out in the direction others want her to go, and it can also represent feeling flip-flopped about your own personal decisions (like when it was her waist, and she swayed side to side)

im really passionate about marina so ill prolly put more of her stuff here eventually lmao
