Favorite Pig Villager

I'm curious and would like to know which pig villager is your favorite and why.

At first I didn't had any favorite pig villager, because there was no one which I like that much. Nowadays I would say that I like Cobb out of all pigs in the series, although he was actually back then one of those villagers I really disliked for a while for various until I gave him a chance at one point which changed my opinion about him.

Boris, Gala, Hambo, Maggie, Peggy, Pigleg, Sue E., and Truffles are the ones I like. Gala and Maggie are just waaay too adorable not to like, at least in my opinion. Hambo and Sue E. are really cool too. I never really get to see the old villagers much, so that's why I like Hambo and Sue E. as well. Truffles is another favorite and I once had her both in my Wild World town and New Leaf and she was so sweet to me. ^-^

I would probably have to say that my favorite Pig villager is Cobb. The green skin and yellow eyes make me think of a zombie for some reason, and the Mad Scientist furniture in his house has me imagining that he himself is a mad scientist, defying death and whatnot. I have him as a resident of my main horror-themed town for this reason.

My second favorite Pig would be Boris, because his tusks, for whatever reason, made me think of vampire fangs (even though those are more often on the top row of teeth instead of the bottom). As I've said in threads in the past, his name makes me think of Boris Karloff, the actor who most famously portrayed Frankenstein's Monster for Universal back in the 1930s. That connection, in combination with the tusks, makes me think of another Universal Monster movie actor, Bela Lugosi, who starred as Dracula back in 1931. So, mash them together and you get my weird headcanon that has Boris as a vampire. He is also a resident of my horror-themed town, and is buddies and next door neighbors with another vampire, a character I created.

My third favorite is Rasher. This one was the hardest to place because I absolutely love his scars and the ridiculous grin that he does sometimes. I'm also fond of his Cranky personality. I had him as a resident in one of my towns for a while, but eventually had to force him out to make room for a resident who fit the town's theme better. I'm pretty sure I want to reacquire him in New Horizons.

Fourth favorite is Chops. If the mayor of my circus/magic show town wasn't already the ringleader, Chops would be an absolutely perfect candidate for the role. He had a really neat design and has my favorite male personality, Smug. He has been a resident of the circus/magic show town since the early days, though I will have to replace him sooner than later as I adopt a few other villagers who also fit the theme.

Honorable mentions to Pancetti and Pigleg. Pancetti was one of those villagers I overlooked for years, then one day something just flipped and I thought she was pretty neat. Might adopt her in a future game, not sure. As for Pigleg, what's not to love? The name's great, he has a unique look with the eyepatch, bandana, and beard, and it's neat that he's based off of a pirate. I can see why they didn't bring him back in New Leaf or with the Welcome Amiibo update, but I'd totally adopt him into a town if he ever returns in the future.

Didn't think this post would be so long when I started writing it, but hey, I guess I think Pig villagers are pretty neat.

Rasher for sure!!! His cranky expression goes well with his look, and he has been one of my favorites since my GameCube town. I almost regret not having him in my town currently.

Hugh is my favorite. He was a starter in my town of Sakura and the first, and so far only, pig villager I've ever had. I quickly fell in love with his lop-sided grin and decided he was never allowed to leave.

I also really like the look of Boris and Rasher. I think they would be cool villagers to have someday.

My favorite is always going to have to be Cobb, of the undead-er, I mean, of the pig villagers. Yeah, the pig villagers! I designed the part of town he lives in as a zombie spot. Black roses, black lilies, dead perfect fruit trees, a rotting turnip, a pitfall, and a sign that says, "zombie pig house" and points to it. This is in Eureka - dream address in my signature! When you go into his house it's like a mad scientist's house and he even has a stewpot that looks like it's full of ... full of... parts!

I moved Curly into my town because he looks like Porky Pig....and because he's determined to get what he wants(I think he might have been referring to Truffles but I'm not sure).I like to give him stupid catchphrases like "hogwarts","bacon" and "ham hock".

Not a huge fan of the pigs (although they're not my least favourite either), but Cobb is an ok dude. Lucy is cute too.

personally im not big on any of the piggies but i'd have to say i like gala the most! she's one of the pigs that actually looks like a real life pig, plus i like the flower accessories in her hair (or well on her head lol) and her long eyelashes. i also like that she doesn't have tiny beady eyes like so many of the other pig villagers do.

plus her catchphrase is "snortie" and like you can't go wrong with that.

 

[Blood Eclipse]

I picked Gala as my #1 favorite. I like that she looks like a colorized version of a classic cartoon character and I like the flower patterns that decorate the side of her forehead.

Ganon would be my second pick because, well, it's Ganon. Too bad I can't move him into my town under normal conditions.

Peggy is a cute pig villager, too.

I like the name 'Truffles' for a pig villager, but Truffles herself looks odd. Eyebrows on animal characters usually don't mix well

I kind of like how Rasher looks. His scar makes him look distinct.

I had Hugh in Animal Crossing Wild World, so I think he's not bad and his Kiddie furniture blends well with his character design

Hambo I like the name. Too bad he was removed in New Leaf.

Curly: the name is very fitting and his design isn't bad either. I'd probably set him as my 5th favorite pig villager.

Borris's design reminds me a bit of Ganon

I like how Agnes looks, too

I'll probably try out pig villagers in Horizons. I've never kept any in my previous Animal Crossing games.

Agnes is by far my favorite of the pigs but I did vote for Sue E. as well since she needs to make a comeback in New Horizons.
