Favorite Pokémon starters

What are your favorite three Pokémon starters from each type; Fire, grass and water.

My favorite grass starter would either be Bulba or Rowlet

My favorite fire starter is Torchic

My fav water starter is either Mudkip or Oshawott

Fire starter: Torchic

Grass starter: Treecko

Fire: Litten
Water: Totodile
(For Grass and Water, it's a tossup. Sometimes I prefer Treecko/Totodile, sometimes I prefer Turtwig/Sobble.)

Water Starter: Sobble

I chose these based on my attachment to the starter itself as well as the overall evolutionary line.

Runners-up: Bulbasaur, Fennekin, Turtwig, Grookey, Fuecoco

Starters that are really adorable in their first stage but become less appealing to me after evolving: Torchic, Mudkip

Fire: Scorbnuuy
Water: Popplio. My favorite starter line overall, I really do love each and every stage to the fullest.

I usually go with Fire because that's my element and all, but I really enjoyed the grass kitty too. Once I have a not-broken 3DS I will play my copy of Sun and check out Popplio lol

I don’t want to be boring and just say the gen 1 starters BUUUUUT…
I’d be lying if I said I would pick any of the others over them if given the option
I know I’m probably blinded by nostalgia, but I just… love them so much ;~;

I do adore Tepig though! Other favourites are Froakie and all the Sun and Moon starters.

Grass: Bulbasaur was once my favorite Pokemon and although it's not anymore, it's still my favorite of the grass starters.

Water: I've grown intensely fond of Swampert throughout the years up until now where I think it may actually be my favorite starter.

Fire: It may be 'cool bait' but I would be lying if I didn't say that I just like Charizard best. It also has one of the coolest shinies ever.
