Who's your favorite smug villager? Looking to add a new smug on my island!

My favorite smug villagers are Shep and Kyle. I highly recommend both, especially Shep.

i dont like most smugs because of the weird fandoms that surround them but i had lopez in acnl as my neighbor, so he deserves rights. also kyle, he keeps to himself.

Raymond and Marshal are nice, but my favorite is definitely Keaton. I really like the eagle villagers and I think he has a cool design. ^^

Oh, gosh. I love so many smugs. I literally think I could have an island of all smugs and still be content. My favourite is probably Julian, but I also love Beardo, Klaus, Kidd, Ed and Colton.

I love almost all the smug villagers who have lived on my islands--there are a lot--but my all time favorite is Colton the princely horse. He's great and he'll wear noble coats and prince's tunics and the royal shirt. Just make sure not to give him a bath towel wrap because he will also wear that and it's not pretty!

There are some really great smug villagers. My favorites are Tex, Henry, Cheddar, Zell , Ken and Kyle.

I never had a favorite smug before. Although I liked Ken and Jacques in New Leaf.
It changed when I met Hans in this game. Best smug ever for me.

He kept chasing after me during the Festivale last year

I also let him enjoy his orange soda undisturbed for a minute or two on the title screen

But later on, I had to let him leave when he asked because I was hunting Audie at the time.
II have his amiibo though so I can call him back anytime.

Tough question as there are so many great smugs such as Chadder, Zell, Marshal, Raymond, Julian, and Kyle that I have all had the pleasure of sharing a town/island with at one time. After great deliberation, I would chose Raymond. Zell is a severely close second because of nostalgia points but Raymond edges him out as he as he was my first smug while playing NH and we have weathered the storm together. There are some days back in 2020 I would open up the game just to interact with him. Raymond is my chosen smug.
