Favourite Nintendo Character?

Hello, who is your favourite Nintendo character? Mine would be Shiek from Zelda Ocarina of Time. She/He is just SO cool and I love the design of the costume, glad they included it in Zelda Breath of The Wild for Switch yay

Definitely Corrin from Fire Emblem Fates! While I didn’t enjoy the game that much, I did like the character and feel like I can relate to him/her a lot.

Eevee (probably no surprise ) has been my favourite Nintendo character since I was young and first saw her while watching my brother play Pokemon Red, I think she has a really cute design and I love all the evolutions she has. I count Vaporeon as a joint favourite as it's my favourite eeveelution, I used to watch Pokemon: The First Movie just so I could see Vaporeon in it, always came across as a really regal Pokemon and I really like the water Pokemon in general.

Honorable mentions: Bulbasaur (my original starter Pokemon and continues to be my favourite of all the starters in the games), Sylveon (my second favourite eeveelution), Yoshi (my favourite character from the Mario series, he's a really sweet dinosaur) and Kirby (I don't actually play many of the main Kirby games but this was a go to fighter in every SSB game due to been able to swallow my enemies and imitate them)

That's hard. But I do have a soft spot for Luigi and Yoshi. They were always my go-to's on double dash as a little kid, so i'll just go with them.

Probably Wind Waker Link. I just thought his personality was hilarious. Still my favorite LoZ game. I still think about some of the screams, facial expressions, or displeased noises Link would make in that game...and I always laugh when I do. So much charisma for a character who doesn't even speak. Lol.

peach! granted, i haven't played a lot of nintendo titles/IPs, but i imagine it'd probably be her regardless. i think she has a lot of wasted potential, personally, and i wish they'd do more with her, including an actually decent solo game. adored playing as her in super paper mario and 3D world, and i always love her various outfits.

That is a hard question! I would go with my girl, Princess Daisy from Super Mario! She is energetic, sassy, and cute!

Honorable mentions are Luigi, Inkling, Marie, Celeste, Pearl, Yoshi, and Kirby!

Well if it counts because he has no personality, lore and just exists as a character slot, then MK8 Male Villager. I’m pretty sure the whole time I was here, since he became my most favorite from the start he was introduced back in 2014 you’d definitely know.

But if he doesn’t count, then most definitely Toadette, Princess Daisy and Prince Peasley.
While you may not have heard of the last one, he’s in the Mario & Luigi series. He has a soft spot for Luigi however, but he’s not simping for him. You may have remembered that I was him as my costume in New Horizons for Halloween, and I would love to be him again.

I had to think about it a little bit but it’s actually not too hard of a choice for me. Though I think separating fully fleshed out non-customizable characters with the self insert/OC customizable ones is fair.

A character that isn’t a fully customizable player character would be Chrom from Fire Emblem Awakening.

Considering he’s the only character I have more than one amiibo of (I have a rule of only having one amiibo per character even if they have more than one variant), but I made the exception for Chrom. I also have a full “Chrom Emblem” team in Fire Emblem Heroes including a +10 heavily invested Spring Chrom despite him being one of the worst axe units nowadays. Mine is pretty awesome though. Though I actually liked Chrom well before all of that. Awakening was my first ever Fire Emblem game and when I started it I had no intention of marrying my character off to Chrom but then it just sort of happened. He’s just an adorable awkward dork who is handsome to boot. What’s not to love? Plus I like that he has his flaws as well.

As for favourite customizable character that goes hands down to the inkling girl. I can’t really pick between the Splatoon 1 or 2 version (plus there’s a 3 version on the way now). As it’s more or less the same character just with added customizations as we move forward. Sure the single player story is a bit different for the inkling in Splatoon 1 compared to 2 but I like them both equally. She just has such a unique but cute design that I never get tired of. The Octolings are cute too but I still prefer Inklings.

Sheik is such a good character, and their music slaps.

It's hard to choose a favourite tho - so many good ones. I love Pascal from AC, and was so glad to see him again when they reintroduced him into ACNH.

I also love Link for obvious reasons - I mean who doesn't. I think Wind Waker Link may be my favourite iteration because of the personality (and also having a grandma in that game was so cute)

I think Pokemon Sword and Shield added some awesome gym leaders (Raihan/Kabu/Allister). I hope some of the cast of SwSh come back in some capacity in the next main game instalment, they are too cool to say goodbye to for good.

I also love the skull kid from Zelda MM - even if he did drive me around the twist whilst actually playing the game. It's just such a cool character design. That whole game is full of great design tho

that's some off the top of my head - I imagine i'm forgetting some major ones but... oh well

I'm unable to choose between Toadette and Princess Daisy.. I just love them both so much.
They are cute and unique. I usually take Toadette and Baby Daisy on Mario Kart Double Dash. :3

I would say this is a difficult question, because there are just a LOT of great characters from nintendo out there, buuuutttt my heart really belongs to one.
And that's N Harmonia from Pokemon Black and White, and Black 2 and White 2. He's usually my profile/icon pic on, most of the websites I have accounts on, and I also have three different figures of him. He's been my favorite nintendo character since I played Black back when those games first came out.

Special Honorable Mention goes to Lorenz Hellman Gloucester, from Fire Emblem Three Houses. It's my first fire emblem game, and even though I love a lot of the characters, he's somehow grown on me so much that he probably is my favorite character from that game, at least at the moment, and is very high up on characters from nintendo games that I love.
