I love Dragons too but Miraidon is my favourite! I just love how sleek and futuristic it looks and those pixel eyes are just plain cool. I already preordered Violet so I look forward using him ingame.

i dislike them both lmao, and i'm pretty sure this is the first set of games where that's true. i've been neutral to some, like dialga and palkia, and reshiram and zekrom, but these are the first game 'mascots' i've just flat out disliked lmao. like, what is with the dodgy tires on their chests? weird as hell. gens 6, 7 and 8 had great legendary options. guess the streak had to end some time. meanwhile the scarvio legendaries are giving

I can kind of relate because I hated the Gen 8 legendaries, Zacian and Zamazenta. I wrote both of them off as furbait and thought Zacian holding a sword in its mouth was one of the most lazy designs GF ever produced. Needless to say, I ended up neutral to both of them over time. As for the Gen 9 dragons, the tires on their chests hint at possible form changes. They appear to be based on motorcycles. The pit stop Pokemon centers, the gym rally flags, it all seems to hint that we will be able to ride them at some point.

oh, i figured, but i still think they're an ugly design choice and making more mecha-themed legendaries (almost like solgaleo) that pull a transformers would've made way more sense than whatever this is. besides, i really don't like the petrol station pokemon centers either, so. maybe this generation's entire "theme" just isn't for me. i was expecting something more summer-tropical themed based on the first trailer, but it seems to have veered in a totally different direction since rip. (also just feels a little stupid that ancient legendary pokemon would be able to turn into a not-yet-invented motorbike, depending on the origin(s) of these two.)

as for gen 8, i didn't originally care for shield dog (even though i chose shield because of ponyta lol) but it's grown on me. sometimes simple is better than whatever the heck scarvio is doing. for me, these have to be right up there with arceus's pakia/dialga origin forms and stereotypically pink, heart-themed female tornado member.

I like both. If Koraidon's wheel thing was implemented more naturally into its design like Miraidon's is, I would pick Koraidon as my favorite. However, Miraidon's wheel thingy looks more naturally implemented in its design, so I prefer him. Maybe with time I will like Koraidon more. However I don't have any current plans to play these pokemon games. It could change, but unlikely.
I think gamefreak did a really good job designing these legendaries. They are different enough but not odd feeling like sw/sh was. They are much better than Sw/Sh S/M US/UM X/Y b/w b2/w2 d/p/pt box legendaries for sure, impo.

I like both of them, but dang, Miraidon has one of my most favorite color combinations, plus I like his futuristic, almost mecha-like look. I mean, that's the whole point of Miraidon's design x)
But Koraidon is pretty cool too!

I like Miraidon better, which I am happy for because I was hoping to get Violet back when it was announced. Not sure why, but it just felt like Violet was the one for me. Still other factors needs to be seen before I officially choose.

Koraidon looks sick as hell, easily my favorite. I love its bright red color and its overall design, but that's mainly because I'm fond of lizards and reptiles. I was immediately drawn to that conspicuous wheel (its #1 creature feature) on its chest and thought, "Hmm, so that's some kind of sac? Like when frogs croak their vocal sacs puff out, you know? But then again, it's eerily similar to the wheel of a motorcycle...." and honestly I think it's a really cool idea for a Legendary Pokémon design: mechas!

I also like how "Korai" means ancient/past and "Mirai" means technology/future. It reminded me of the overall idea of Gen 5's Opelucid City theme, where in White it's past and in Black it's future. Call me old-fashioned but I'm always more inclined on themes involving the past, it's much more interesting. Meanwhile, Miraidon has pixelated, robotic eyes which is a neat detail, and while I do like its design, Koraidon just looks much cooler imo.

Koraidon is my favorite of the two. I like its overall design more (even if the tire does stick out more), and I'm a fan of its color combination.

It's kinda weird they turn into motorcycles but Miraidon looks more appealing to me.

Miraidon has the better colors, but Koraidon has the better design. I’m pretty sure I’ll be getting Violet, though. I just prefer the color purple.

I don't really care for either of them but Miraidon's colour scheme is nice so I'll vote that one.

I don't hate them, but I'm not very big on them, either. But if I had to pick, Miraidon.

I think that if Koraidon didn't have that weirdly placed tyre, I'd probably prefer Korai. I know it's the theme for these games, but it just looks like a very awkward place to have a tyre. I'm probably overthinking it, but having the tyre so close to the chin is what bothers me, I think.

My sister is all in on Miraidon but I really like both, I think they actually nailed it with this generation's legends.

It will be interesting to see their typing. From Koraidon's feet and claws, they're webbed, kinda making me think one of their typing would be water. Just a guess.

Also if they do turn into bikes, Maraidon will definitely be a hoverbike. Maybe if Koraidon is water typing, he can be a waterbike lol

Koraidon is believed to be Fighting / Dragon while Miraidon is believed to be Electric / Dragon

Miraidon gets my vote! I’m going to be getting Pokémon Violet anyway and I’m glad the legendary is sooo cool looking, but really, they’re both really cool!
