My favorite switch games besides AC are BOTW, Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario 3D All-Stars (ripoff though), and Fire Emblem Three Houses. Splatoon is great too, as well as Stardew Valley. I haven't gotten Pikmin on the Switch but it was amazing on the Wii U and I'm sure it's even better now.

I bought my switch solely for ACNH, I bought BOTW to play while I wait, but I never got through the intro before my roommate stole my switch with BOTW inserted. All I was left with was the game case and the joy-con straps.
I waited till just before ACNH release to buy another switch.
So. I only play ACNH

I have 1,200+ hours in Smash Ultimate with about 20 characters in Elite Smash. I'm okay fundamentally and I was the best in my friend group when we played together.

I still don't consider myself good at it. If I played in an actual tournament I probably wouldn't make it out of pools.

Breath Of The Wild
Pro: Amazing open world play and after completing the full game twice now, still finding new stuff that I haven't discovered before
Con: None

Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Pro: Helped me through 2020 and has a great community/online play around it. Very relaxing & calming game
Con: After completing museum & diys, I notice that I play it way less than I used to. More content would be welcome by now

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Pro: Best racing franchise there is. Tracks look stunning, music is hype and a perfect game for solo or with friends
Con: Online play is still wonky sometimes (server lag), also once you get to high points, the points awarding system is just stupid

Monster Hunter Rise
Pro: First time playing a MH game and I really got sucked into the world. Enjoying it more than I thought I would
Con: For a new player, a lot is still overwhelming (items & combos and stuff)

Mario Party
Pro: I have so many childhood memories of this franchise with my family & friends. Perfect when people come over or online play
Con: Compared to the previous ones, the switch one still is missing...something. The new upcoming MP looks like a big improvement tbh

1) Monster Hunter Rise. At this point I've spent the most time on this game than any other Switch game. It's just a damn good and solid Monster Hunter game despite some of its really quite minor flaws.

2) Fire Emblem Three Houses. I thought the story, writing and anything outside of combat was absolutely dire and hard to sit through but mechanically, the gameplay is damn good. The gameplay is what makes me want to go back and have another playthrough. I was really skeptical about some of the changes they brought in but I went back to Awakening afterwards (because I really wanted more FE) and there were quite a few mechanical things I forgot existed and was like "wow, I'm glad they changed that".

3) Splatoon 2. Shooty splat splat. More of the same but I'm alright with that because there's nothing quite like Splatoon.

4) Pokemon Shield (and Sword I guess...They're the same game, lets be honest). I think that it could have been better, there's absolutely no doubt that the series needs to be handed to a far less incompetent developer than Game Freak, but a Pokemon Game is still a Pokemon game and they're still fun even when they're a bit crap.

Honorable mentions:
- Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8 and Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition. These were 3 of my 4 absolute favorite Wii U titles (and games in general)...Which is why they're only honorable mentions. If I'm going to say my favorite Switch games, I'm not going to talk about my favorite Wii U games.
MH Generations Ultimate goes here too for the same reason, I know it as a 3DS game.
