Favourite takeaway/takeout food?

1. Mexican (I will eat anything at a Mexican restaurant, I love it all)
2. American (burgers/fries)
3. Japanese (ramen, tempura, chicken teriyaki)

I also really like falafel pitas and Indian curries, this was a difficult list to form!

I love ramen noodles.

I could pick so many more meals and cuisines 🤣

Honestly? American. Simple as that. I'm not crazy about burgers and hot-dogs, though . . . But I'll take pizza any day. 🍕
I love poutine and I order it every time, but it's a Canadian-exlcusive dish that I've only seen in my province, so... Canadian take-out? XD

1. Garbage fast food - taco bell, white castle, popeyes - all those gross heavenly places.
2. Thai food! I love getting some fried rice and wontons from our local Thai restaurant. I can eat on it for DAYS and it’s always delicious. Level 2 or 3 spice…chefs kiss
3. BBQ. I get DOWN on some BBQ

I’ve seen poutine in a couple places here in america and and a couple different places in canada. it is stupid good. like i have to avoid it or i won’t stop eating it.

Hmmm...

1. Thai (can never go wrong)

2. Mediterranean (there's a local place near me that serves the best of it)

3. Japanese (sashimi, sushi, and bento boxes)

I don't get takeout too often, but when I do it's always kebab!! It's available almost everywhere here, pretty cheap and hits the spot for me, so literal perfection imo ☺️ 🙏

1. Mexican - Burritos, Tacos, Quesadillas, Fajitas, Arroz con Pollo. It's all good!
2. American - Burgers, Chicken, Fries and so forth. It's a staple.
3. Italian - Pizza. There are so many delicious ways to make it. Italian food is actually my favorite, but I usually eat in for everything except pizza.

Honorable Mentions:
Japanese - I've been on a yakisoba kick lately.
Chinese - I haven't had it in so long because we live one block away from a Japanese restaurant so if we're in the mood for Asian food we usually just go there, but it's still good.

The best part of living in the city is all of the different cuisines. I live right by a bunch of food trucks, so I like to try them all. The Indian food cart has excellent naan and chicken korma. Chinese restaurants in my city are all over the place in quality, but at the good ones I typically order orange chicken or sesame chicken. Sweet and sour pork is awesome too. At Italian places I always get chicken parmesan. The food truck near where I live always mixes the chicken with some spaghetti, which I appreciate. At Japanese places I order sushi, yakisoba, or teriyaki chicken. Occasionally I'll order ramen, but I'm very picky about where I eat it. As for Mexican food I mostly order chicken burritos, but I'll have tacos every now and then. I don't eat Vietamese often since on my moms doesn't like it. When I have the chance though I like to eat soup salads. Lastly is Thai food. I could go for hours about how much I love Thai cuisine. Whether it's curries, noodles, the iced coffee, or the iced tea, I could eat them all. Whenever I try a new Thai place out I always test by eating their pad Thai first. If it's good then I'll branch out and try their drunken noodles or curries. If I absolutely had to rank them, my top 4 would be:
4. Mexican
3. Chinese
2. Japanese
1. Thai

  • Italian (grew up with Italian food, as my mom was Italian and her father/my grandfather was from Italy, some favorites are Brasciole, Linguine with white clam sauce, chicken parmigianna, Cannoli, Tiramisu, biscotti)
  • Chinese - Love sweet and sour chicken, general tsos chicken, pork fried rice, steamed dumplings, wonton soup, pork egg rolls, crab rangoon
  • Mexican - especially carne a sada, and I love the dessert flan
I also have to give a mention to Salvadoran food, I used to have pupusas occasionally from a Salvadoran place when I was a kid, haven't had them since then but I loved them when I did. I need to get some again sometime, I know there's places locally that have that type of food, I just need to go sometime and get some.

Hmm, if I had to pick favorites...
  1. Japanese Food I absolutely love ramen, there's a local ramen place near me that has the BEST tempura udon and sushi, and also I really like gyoza lately. Sometimes I'm in the mood for takoyaki, but lately I've been in the mood for sushi and gyoza to go with my ramen.
  2. Italian Food Pasta is one of my favorite foods - spaghetti, fettuccini alfredo, lasagna, you name it (fettuccini alfredo is my favorite). We don't have too many cheap Italian places where I live (there's some really good ones but they are EXPENSIVE!), so when I get a craving for Italian, I usually just hit up Olive Garden around lunch time to get the lunch special.
  3. Mexican Food I'm really not picky here with what I like in Mexican food - burritos, tacos, nachos, tamales, fajitas, you name it! Slightly unrelated, there's a Mexican place right down the street from me that I've never been to, but apparently they have Mexican Coca-Cola, which I've heard is good, but I can't stand the taste of soda!
Runner up: Chinese American Food Sometimes I like Chinese American food, usually I go to Panda Express to get it (their honey walnut shrimp is AMAZING), but sometimes, sketchy Chinese buffets are just what I'm craving - sometimes you just have to have food that you honestly have no idea what you're eating but it's good.

Ramen is delicious. Pasta with tomato garlic sauce is one of my favourite meals.

i think Chinese is definitely a classic top pick, but usually if I’m ordering a takeaway I pick based on the restaurant I want instead of general cuisine. that being said, i do order a lot of Japanese food!! second up would probably be ‘American’ food (burgers pizza etc) and third would be Italian. we don’t really order out a lot though tbf

I feel like it changes based on my cravings but recently, this is my tier list.
  1. Indian food
  2. Chinese/Taiwanese food
  3. Jamaican Jerk
I eat a lot of Korean and Japanese at home and they both have similar spices and flavor profiles, so I end up craving things with some different spices. I love how fragrant Indian and Chinese food is, and Jamaican Jerk just tastes so good to me... I think it's the onions in jerk seasoning and the coconut milk in rice and peas.

I think it’s mix between restaurant and cuisine, got to be in the right mood for a certain type of cuisine while it’s got to be a good restaurant 😂

I just love Chinese food. Can eat it hot or cold and it still tastes godly.

Indian and Chinese food is just divine ain’t it? 😍

Indian, Chinese & American/Canadian are my top favs. We always order the curry spicy and it blows your face off but it's satisfying and always a big portion. There's a lot of poutine shops around here also.
