So, today's my first day on the forum, and I figured I'd do a blog post detailing why I joined up here.

I am becoming increasingly disappointed with the community and staff on Animal Crossing Community, my previous site. From the community's position of "I want everything for free!" to the staff's absolute refusal to change, it is becoming ridiculous. I am not impressed with their assumption that everybody who plays the game is a child. Most of the people I have seen on the site are teenagers, yet they still will not let real-world discussions occur because of the handful of under-13 forum users on the site.

Hmmm have you talked to the admin about this? Trust me I know what you're dealing with, i've gone through it. PS: Never go on alliscrossing.com, there are nice people but it is overall just a bunch of bipolar mods and admins. I counted only 1 member actually posting.

Nah. I'm not bothering. I got into an argument with one of them, but it's not worth it. You can't really argue about their "protect the children from the evils of the Internet" defense.

The whole other thing about the "want everything now" is based off of a debate on the forums that is about limiting giveaways on the forum to promote trading.
