First experiences with Animal Crossing?

My first Animal Crossing game was the one for the Gamecube; the sad thing is, is that I don't remember anything about that time I spent playing it. I think I started playing it some time after I met my ex in person (we met on a message board and then played WoW together).

I was 10 years old when the Gamecube version came out. My friend had it and I played it once and ended up running out and buying it. I've bought every single game they've come out with since in the Animal crossing series. I've been playing on Nintendo systems since I was 3-4 years old so I grew up as a gamer. lol I'm 25 with a 2 1/2 year old and still hardcore into gaming, mostly Nintendo of course

Almost time for the next generation to get hooked, he already plays face raiders on my 3DS haha

I still have the Gamecube version x'D I also still play it.
I remember going over to a friends house and they had it, after that I got a copy of the game. Been playing ever since.
