Hey woomies! So as we all know, New Horizons is releasing next Friday, and I know I am SUPER hyped for it!
What will be the first 3 things that you will do to your island after the Daily Announcement, and tutorial?

If you also want, I can give you a pretty accurate playstyle for your first week or so.I'll try and guess tho.

Island planning (terraforming, moving shops, etc.), finding ways to unlock new hairstyles and clothing, and custom furniture!

Settle in a bit, explore and check out all the new features : ) then I may look over my map plan ahead and proceed to start crafting/earning.

The usual grinding? I guess that's a good idea considering the price of the loan and how much the Nooks buy them for xD

yes sir xD it’s been a while since i’ve been able to do the basics in animal crossing and i miss it lmao

Probably the same thing as faiiry. Building up my resources and paying mr. nook. I figure construction and terraforming abilities won't be available until later(?) so I'm holding off on that while I get other things in place. I'm so excited to start, it's all i can think about these days!

Well, I mean we only have 9 days left so LeTs JuSt SlEeP uNtIl ThUrSdAy xD

Probably collect some nook miles, catch bugs / fish because I'm guessing some are seasonal and I don't want to have to wait a year to get them xD.

OH! Also, getting resources.

It's actually hard to choose a top three, even though our islands will be pretty barren to start.

I'd have to say:

1. Gather all the materials I can find
2. Explore every corner I can get to
3. Trade for foreign fruit online. I want to plant all fruits asap since they take a few days to actually grow.

I also want to talk to my villagers until they start repeating dialog, start cross breeding flowers, and work on getting nook miles. Then I'll probably fish until I drop, lol.

I definitely don't think I'll be running out of things to do on the first day!

1. Explore everything I can get to.
2. Shake all the trees, collect all the fruits.
3. Trade fruits and plant new fruit trees.
4. Collect all the flowers and move them to one area so I can water them in one go, I did this in every AC game so I don't have to go walking around to water my starter flowers.
5. Collect materials and shake all the trees, hit all the rocks etc.
6. Talk to all my islanders and make them happy.
7. Craft some simple outdoor furniture to make areas look cute.

There is going to be so much to do no way I'm going to get bored first day haha

I am going to explore, try to get used to the new controls.
Figure out neat tricks and shortcuts.
Grind, grind, grind.
Settle in overall and enjoy the graphics. I highly hope for rain in the game soon. I NEED to experience rain.

Probably spend an hour looking for an island map I want to start out with, then probably just fish, catch bugs, craft goodies and work on Nook Miles tasks until I get tired of playing for the day.

I'm gonna explore my island, catch fish and bugs, get some crafting materials, craft some things, complete nook mile challenges, ect.. :)

I'm probably not going to grind for bells for a while. I don't want to do anything repetitive that would make anything feel like a chore already, but I'm really curious about nook miles so I want to check out those.

I'm going to work toward getting the campground so I can use my Alfonso amiibo and able sisters so I can look at all the clothing options!

but in general I want to really take my time with everything and make sure this game lasts for years.

1. Explore every inch of the island that I can.
2. Group all of the flowers together to start breeding hybrids.
3. Gather as much resources as possible.
