Go explore the entire island, meet the npc's and first villagers and then catch bugs and fish/collect resources. I can't wait. Its like torture almost it downloaded from the eshop yet its not available to play.

Gather materials to craft the basics - fishing rod, net, and vaulting pole.

I'm not sure how much will be available from the start, but I'd want to start raking in the bells and doing the daily tasks to get nook miles for later.

Will be gathering, fishing and the regular stuff...want to collect as much nook miles as I can plus save bells for use. Not going to rush things though take everything at my own pace of things.

I'm honestly so tired lately, this sounds like a good option xD

I know I'd likely try to get as many villagers as I can since I consider that the most fun aspect of animal crossing OR try my best to unlock the museum because else wise my inventory and island is going to be covered in a bunch of donations.

Probably get a good look at my island. I really enjoyed building my town back in New Leaf, and I really love how this game puts an emphasis on building up the island. I'm super excited about that, and I really want to just explore the areas of the island I can explore and start planning the way it's gonna look.

Then gather up some nook miles while I'm exploring.
and finally I'm not too sure, whatever comes along during the day!

i just realized on sunday we'll get the new turnip person, and that has kinda thrown a wrench in my plans. so, my new plans are:
1. collect resources to build tools
2. explore my island a lil and plan things out
3. collect the daily fossils and fish to make bells

One of the first things I will do when i get to my island is arrange all my flowers to make hybrids lol

What will be the first 3 things that you will do to your island after the Daily Announcement, and tutorial?

1. It probably won't be part of the tutorial, so I'd like to set up my Town Tune, and possibly town flag. I may need to wait for the pro design and QR Reader to be available before I do the flag.

2. I'll probably start by gathering and selling all fruit on the trees.

3. At this point I'll probably want to begin fishing for a bit, selling duplicates, and placing 1 of each on the beach for donating later.

I'll probably wander the island, collect some materials, and make a fishing pole. I love fishing in Animal Crossing and I'm looking forward to it!

Personally I can't wait to customize my character and check out the clothing shops! I am also excited to find the perfect location for my new house! Third thing...I will probably be grinding/fishing like other players above mentioned hehe
