Food Allergies

it’s not like that, it’s called celiac disease, and it can cause severe digestive issues. it’s not technically an allergy because there is nothing to cure it as of yet, and it is more long-term side effects. it’s actually not that hard to deal with anymore, because there are a lot more gluten free products now then when i was diagnosed with it! so that’s a positive i guess c:
I’ve read there were different “stages” of celiac disease. You can be intolerant (which does not cause death) or allergic, which is really rare and it causes an allergic reaction, which happens before the food arrives to your stomach that’s why I was wondering if you had to carry an EpiPen with you :>

i dont have to carry an epipen, and i usually don’t eat out, and only have gluten free food in my house, but it if i were to eat it, i would immediately get sick. not like my throat closing up, it’s like food poisoning :0

Food allergies are the worsttt istg. If I eat egg I’d die lol :’)

I think I've developed a slight sensitivity to dairy when I consume it at nighttime. No serious symptoms, so I feel fortunate there.

I'm not allergic to foods so I can't really say anything, but I do indeed have food allergies to a lot of foods.
I did the Everlywell's test and came back with 80+ foods in moderate, mild, but luckily nothing in severe.
Meaning, sensitivity to many of those foods could cause a reaction, in my case, a headache or migraine depending on the severity of the foods reactivity.

Now no, I don't exactly know the science behind it, but I can explain from my own point that I get headaches constantly.
I'm on a good diet, only cheating on Friday and then back on the diet for the week, drinking plenty of water, I just simply can't handle certain foods but fortunately am able to still be okay with them.

The oddest part, is that lots of the items on the list were dairy or meat products. I, most of the time, cannot eat chicken or beef without getting a headache and I think part of it has to do with the temperature. If it's too hot, I get a migraine and it is excruciating but i deal with it and move on.

Anyway, this could actually just be me being allergic to some foods (more examples but I'll spare you all) and the reaction is mild so it's called "food sensitivity." I just try to watch the foods on that list and if they give me a headache I know not to eat them anymore.
