[For Fun Thread] Create a PWP!

I would like to make a swimming pool that your character and other villagers could jump in. A lot of pwps are just decorations you can look at and I would rather be able to play with them.

This. I was thinking something a little like Pocket Camp's pool, and maybe you can even swim in it with a wetsuit? Perhaps villagers like frogs and octopuses are more likely to be around it?

Not sure if this would work, but what about fences? I think it would be neat to have those to help with paths and maybe making a certain area feel more like home. Also, the fences would not even count towards the Public Works Project limit. You could put up as many as you would want. I can see towns looking a little more organized with these.

I'd like a PWP to set up a little cottage or something for Isabelle. She needs somewhere to take a break goddammit!

But seriously, maybe it could be a small house that you can enter on the weekends and visit Isabelle~
I know they have RVs and stuff for visiting NPCs but a little Isabelle house would be cute ;3;

I don't know if I've already said this, but an Egyptian obelisk PWP could be nice to have. I got the idea when I noticed a lot of major cities seem to have Egyptian obelisks in them, despite not being anywhere near Egypt, which I assume are genuine and have been moved from their original spot in Egypt. It could be about as high as the Tower PWP, which would capture just how large these structures really are. It would also go well with the other Egypt themed PWPs.

I want to see more PWPs that you and the villagers can interact with more. For example, if there's a sandbox PWP, I want to see the villagers (especially lazy villagers) going to play in the sandbox sometimes, building castles and such.

I agree with people saying we need beach PWPs. Maybe you can have a permanent sand sculpture in your beach's sand. Or maybe you could set up a lifeguard chair/booth.

OR! Maybe you could build surfboards or kayaks as a PWP and maybe once in a while a villager would be out on the water using one as a result. That'd be super cute.

Gravestones. I find gravestones to be both beautiful and peaceful. I'd love to be able to build a little cemetary where I could sit and contemplate life.

Maybe you could even add the name of villagers that have left town… Nah, maybe a bit grim.

I think it would be nice to have a sundial as a PWP. And it’d have similar effects like the instrument shelter.

I’d also like to have the ability to recolor/rotate certain PWPS. That would give you so much more power to PWPS.

i really want a greenhouse. i'd love it if its purpose was to make breeding hybrids easier, like if it gave you more control over the offspring somehow.

I had 2 ideas - one for the beach and one for the river. For the ocean - swan boats. You know? The peddle boats shaped like swans? How fun would it be to paddle around with a villager or a visiting friend? My other idea is a water wheel for the river. It would just be decorative but I think if it actually turned it would be pretty.

I would be in love with ACNL, if they added a another update, to add stuff from Pocket Camp. And for my opinion on picking PFP, would be adding maybe an another store, to buy a bunch of anime related items, some that can be limited time! c:

Everyone has such good ideas. It was mentioned before, but I think a swing set would be cool and a slide. That you can actually interact with. I also think a picnic table would be cool. There’s a cafe pwp so how about a restaurant? I’ve always wanted that in animal crossing.

I feel like a swing is likely because of it’s appearance in acpc, plus acnl already has a ton of sit-able pwps ^^. Honestly, I’m wondering if and how pwps will be handled in switch, considering maybe we won’t even be mayor!

I love the suggestions of the Torii gate and gravestones. Both of those are PWPs I would definitely use. I also like the idea of rotating and/or recoloring PWPs. I want log benches that can surround the fire pit, for example.

I would also like to see more cultural landmarks from different countries. We have the Tokyo Tower, but no Eiffel Tower. I'd love to do a world tour type of town, but the PWPs are kind of limited to only a few regions.

Building off one of the posts I saw a bit earlier~Waterslides!!

You should be able to get this unlock after getting a certain amount of fish from the ocean, or something related with water/the ocean.

I'd hope that Isabelle would suggest it to you, and have a nice little set of dialogue to go with her request. When ready, you go to a certain part of a cliff, and a waterfall is built! It goes into the ocean, and I think it would be a really nice addition to the new game.

In terms of pricing, because it's a big addition, but not super necessary, I'd say around 100k bells.

Reading through these ideas is really fun!!

What about a greenhouse? I remember seeing somebody say something about farming for vegetables and other things, so what about something that will allow you to grow vegetables? It would certainly be a good way to implement it into animal crossing, considering all the fruit trees (going off of new leaf) stay year round and not all vegetables would survive in all seasons. Letting the villagers eat from it from time to time would be a cute addition as well.
