Forgotten Villagers: Semi-Final #1

Alright, as the title suggests it's time for youfavorites to square off against each other. Very few of the villagers I personally voted for made it this far...

Here are your contenders:

WHEW, this was a tough choice.

analog, lulu, meow and tarou are 4 of my favourite villagers, so choosing between them was torture lol, but my vote ultimately went to lulu. she just has such a lovely design, and she’d fit new horizons’ island aesthetic really well!

it was very hard not voting for meow, but to me, her and bow are a package deal, so i wouldn’t want to see her come back without him and vice versa. i’d definitely love for them all to come back, though! :’)

I voted Tarou because he's a purple wolf. It's a crime that we can't have him in NH

I voted for Analog, Faith, Meow, Sven, and Woolio in their respective polls. But as soon as I saw Woolio, I knew where my vote was going, lmao. What I said about him before still holds true:

For me, this is a slam dunk vote for Woolio. He is literally the personification of cool.

I voted for Felyne because I loved having him in my new leaf town and would love for him to be able to live on my island one day.

This was really hard, a lot of my favourites made this poll and I wanted to vote for them all.

Voted for Tarou in the end, his design is slightly plain compared to some others in the poll but I still like it and think his purple colouring will look great in the game and different enough to Lobo. There also aren’t really jocks that I love in the game so I often avoid the personality but Tarou could change this as I love the wolf villagers and would definitely have him on my island, would be good to have a male wolf in game who wasn’t a cranky villager.

Special mention to Woolio though who was a close second for me as I love his design and Sven who looks like a very loveable goat and would look great with Sherb on my island.

Tough decision between Meow, Sven, and Tarou, but ultimately I voted for Tarou. Mainly because Tarou is the only jock wolf, and it'd be nice to have that personality variety for wolves! Plus that simple design is so cute.

I was waiting for this thread to appear! This was an easy decision for me. I went with Tarou. You can’t go wrong with a purple and blue wolf.

I voted for Lulu, but I don't love that she's snooty. I really love her design, but I don't love snooty villagers.

Tarou is cute (I may have voted for him in the previous poll?), but I just couldn't see him on my island.

Faith is super cute too.

I thought about going for Sven because he's in my GC town (and in the sweetest house spot to boot) but ended up going with Faith

also I love the "Her catchphrase, "aloha," is a common Hawaiian greeting." line in the wiki

Tough call between Meow and Woolio.

I love the robotic/technological villagers and would like more of them, and Bow and Meow's faces being LCD screens is really cool. The developers could implement some neat, unique facial reactions for them if they were so inclined. That said, I highly doubt that even if they brought back some of these long abandoned characters that they would bring back Bow or Meow since the technology they were representing is old now.

Meanwhile, Woolio has the nice sunglasses and star face paint. A bit less grandiose in design than Meow, but still a step above some more basic villagers.

If Meow had any chance whatsoever, she'd have first priority for me among these. Woolio seems the more likely of the two though.

It was a tie between Fruity and Tarou, but I went with Tarou.

I voted for Faith. I have a soft spot for villagers with flower motifs and I think she and June would be so cute as neighbors.

Great question! My truly preferred villagers, W Link & Epona, aren't here but I like Felyne's look and I think we could use more cute cat villagers--not really, but I like cat villagers so I'm biased... Otherwise Woolio's look is super unique and interesting: he'd be my second pick to return.

Feylne because his mask in NL makes a really funny sound. Like a cross between a meow and oi!
