Three years ago, I thought of this idea, but now I would like to share it. This idea is about other members submitting collectible designs to the site staff before they can review it.
How it works:
Every month, submissions for new collectibles open up. Within the first two weeks, members of this forum can design collectibles, name them, and submit it through the submissions forum. They also get to choose a price between 100 to 599 TBT. Once the 15th of a month starts, the submissions close, and will be under review. The best five collectibles will be announced on the last day and will appear in the shop on the first day of the next month. They will be in stock for one month, selling between 5 to 6 each day (depending on how many days there are in a month), and will exit the shop once the month ends. They will not return once they are out.
What can be accepted:
If both the idea and the design are good enough, it will be nominated and would eventually be selected as one of the five to be stocked next month. However, there can be only one submission per month per user, it must be submitted when the submissions are opened, and it must follow all of the guidelines below:
As for seasonal collectibles, they would only be accepted if submitted in the following months:

- It cannot be an already existing collectible or a variation of it. We may love the glow wands and balloons, but those were already made by the staff.
- It cannot be an inexistent collectible, but related to another series of existent collectibles. Examples include villagers, feathers, balloons, and eggs.
- It cannot be related to another franchise besides Nintendo's franchises. This includes the Mickey Mouse collectible, sorry.
- It cannot be an animated collectible. Those are for contests only.
- It must be G-rated (or E-rated whatever you want to call it). This site is kid-friendly and should be kid-friendly.
- It cannot be a religious or political symbol. The political discussions in Brewster's Café is enough.
- It cannot be someone else's work. This is plagiarism, which is bad.
As for seasonal collectibles, they would only be accepted if submitted in the following months:
- Winter - November, December, January
- Spring - February, March, April
- Summer - May, June, July
- Fall - August, September, October
- Holiday - the month before the holiday
Those who get their collectibles accepted and stocked in the shop will receive the following:
- 10% of all sales of the collectible.
- 5 copies of the collectible.
- Credit in the collectible description.
- Username color change for the entire month.
