Forum Issues (What's New and New Posts not working)

Hi guys, currently TBT is having a few issues. You might notice that new posts and threads aren't showing up in the What's New and New Posts pages. In some boards, threads are not showing new posts even when there are new posts in the thread. Also, when you make a post sometimes it will say Database Error even though it actually posted just fine. If you notice anything else not working, please mention it here. Thanks.

Jeremy will be installing an update to the forums tomorrow evening to hopefully resolve the issues. Hang in until then.

UPDATE: For the most part everything seems to be resolved. If you see any more broken threads, let us know.

Well I did download a patch last night and then Justin changed those threads. I doubt the patch would fix it though (?). I had been emailed SQL errors for a while, (including when this started) only on a few days though. If the issues come back I need to do something, so please post here if you notice anything,

I sent in a support ticket so we shall see what they say...

Having the same problem in the Groups with things not showing up. I reported someone for spamming but then realized it was the forum who made them post multiple times.

For the time being, posts seem to show up after I refresh after getting the database error message.

Leaving visitor messages on profiles also brings up data base errors. The comments are still sent just like new posts, though.

I'm glad this problem isn't just on my end, I was worried for a bit there last night!

Adding onto the 'database error' bit, I just posted in the 'Working for the Roost?' topic in the Animal Crossing 3DS section via the Quick Reply box and got that message. However, the topic doesn't acknowledge that it went through even though when I click 'Go Advanced' it shows my post in Topic Review area. Judging on the number of posts per page, it seems as if I should have started a new page with my post. It looks like the system isn't acknowledging when a new page is started either, at least in that area of the forums.

"Database Error" appears every-time I try to enter a image into my post. Is that happening to anyone else?

I was actually on my way over to this board to start a new topic asking what was up with the forums recently. Good to know the the issues are known.

So far I have noticed "Database errors" and have definitely noticed the new post glitches. I thought the forums were finally dead. However I started noticing new posts on the forums but they were "quiet", meaning I had no idea of knowing there was any new post.

Hopefully Jeremy can get these issues fixed soon.

Slightly off topic:

The database isn't working on Pokemon.com or DeivantART either. Both come up with loading errors when trying to post notes or messages and also when trying to log in.

Most of it seems to be fixed, but I'm still seeing a couple threads where new pages aren't being acknowledged while in the topic, even though the section page acknowledges there are new posts. The posts are there if you click "go advanced" and look at the topic review, but the page they're on does not exist. I've only found two threads with this issue so far.

The threads with this issue I have found:
-"How long will you play ACJO" thread, specifically with Toeto's post which seems like it'd start page 4.
-"Funny/Weird Moments In Animal Crossing" thread, with a post I made myself which seems like it would start the second page.

Yeah... those are definitely broken. I just tried to post myself in one of those threads. Not sure what can be done at the moment but I suppose re-making the threads is an option if nothing can be fixed soon.

Hey, just fixed all of the broken threads that I've seen. (the ones where you post and it comes up on another page that you can't see) If you see any more that I missed, let me know and I'll fix it.
