@Rubygame My 3DS is not connecting to the internet. I don't know why. It works in the internet settings, but it wont work in the friend list or in New Leaf. I'll try to make it work, but I don't know what's wrong. Is your 3DS able to connect?

Their website says that their maintenance already ended at 12:35 Pacific time today, but that's an hour and a half in the future, so maybe it's still going. I can keep trying to connect in case the problem is on my end.

Ok now the connection is blocked for me too! I get an error message with the friends list...
Strange enough I did a trade 1 hour ago and everything was fine, let's check in a few hours if you want

@Rubygame Perhaps they only just started working on it. Let's try in about an hour and fifteen minutes, that's when their website says the maintenance will be done. Well, actually, it says that it already ended, but at that time in the future. So we can see if it works then.

If any time in that range works for you, I'll be here. Otherwise, we can try for 11AM/7PM tomorrow. Hopefully Nintendo's internet service will be working again by then.

@Matt0106 I'm not sure if Nintendo's service will be working again tonight, but if it is, you can definitely bring your items to my town. I have Ruby's items laid out in front of the train station, so if it's not too inconvenient, you might have to drop them a little farther away. But maybe it will be cleared away by then, we'll have to see what happens. This service outage happened at a very inconvenient time. ^o^;>

@Rubygame I just checked, and the Nintendo servers or whatever it was are working again, so we should be able to connect now. It's still an hour before you said you'd be here, but I just wanted to let you know I'm here and ready anytime for the next three hours or so, so you can just let me know when you're ready, and I'll open my gate for you to visit and catalog all of the items in front of my train station, which should be every orderable DLC item and every HHD giant item. And the RV items I ordered for you to keep are over by my Re-Tail shop, which is not far from the train station, you'll see it on the map.

I'll be saving every few minutes while you're in my town, so that you don't lose much progress if we get disconnected. And if you catalog everything and get home and discover you missed something, just let me know, and I'll be happy to let you visit again. It's a lot of items, so it might be easy to miss one, or maybe there's one I left out by mistake. ^o^;>

I'm usually afk on my 3DS when I let people visit for items and things, so rather than using the in-game text chat, please post here if you want to communicate with me, where I'll be sure to see it.

And I have Kicks's RV scanned in today, if you want to order any items from it. I can also order six items from it today (three on each of my characters) if you want more than three items yourself. Just tell me which ones you'd like me to order, and I can get them to you another day after they arrive in the mail.
