Friday the 13th Survival Kit!

3. tree standee (a very convincing disguise to hide from scary things)
4. lunch pack (i might get hungry...)
5. lunch box (my backup in case my first lunch is stolen)
6. towel basket (i can't step on any cracks if i lay towels everywhere i go!)
7. ladybug (good luck and moral support)
8. candy umbrella (an umbrella in my favorite color in case it rains)
9. bandage (i could get a PAPERCUT!!!)
10. pepper mill (it's too dangerous to keep salt with me but i wanna season my lunch SOMEHOW... nobody said anything about pepper)

Here’s my Friday the 13th survival kit! I haven’t looked at anyone else’s lists so I’m sorry if mine is similar.

1. Four leaf clover worn as the hair accessory!
2. Shovel to dig up any suspicious looking cracks - no pitfalls for me!
3. 1-up mushroom for that extra life.
4. Alarm clock - gotta make sure I don’t oversleep and be late for my day.
5. A cricket friend - I learned from Mulan they’re supposed to be lucky!
6. Bandage face accessory for when I get attacked by bees.
7. Blue dot parasol - my favorite umbrella for when the world realizes it’s Friday the 13th and starts spontaneously raining.
8. Lucky cat.
9. Apple - an apple a day keeps the doctor away, yeah?? /sweats
10. K.K. Jongara - my favorite KK song to keep me upbeat!

TOM NOOK: first on my kill list!!!

Ok, so I?ve always been a little afraid of all the freakies out on Friday the 13th, so I decided to go to Tom Nook on Thursday The 12th for help this year for a new identity to help disguise me. I figured he could work with Gracie, and the spiny sisters to get me ready for this day. Here is the story as it happened.

First item on my survival list is a HUGE PILE OF CASH (1) that I handed over to Mr. Nook to help disguise me. He must still be a little pissed that I haven?t paid off my last house update cuz this is what he came up with. First, he hands me a YELLOW RAINCOAT (2) made by the girls. Ok, the weather forecast did predict a 30% chance of rain, so I guess this might be helpful, but yellow??? I?m gonna stick out like a sore thumb. Next, he gives me some BLACK RAIN BOOTS (3) that he got from Kicks to go along with the raincoat. Well at least they?re black I think to myself. After my clothes, he gives me a CRUISER BIKE (4) which is a little better as my bright yellow clothes may make me so easily seen that I?ll prob have to book it and it?ll be faster with a bike than on foot. Next, he hands me an AIRPUMP (5). Geeeeeeez Nook, so I?m gonna have to try to be inconspicuous in my yellow raincoat AND having to carry around an airpump too? He sees my worried look and next hands me a BACKPACK (6). Whew, ok, I can put the airpump in there at least. After I store the airpump, he hands me a COMPASS (7). Ok, that?ll be useful in case I get chased into the woods but dang it Nook!!! How am I going to defend myself?!?! Where?s my knife, gun, taser, invisibility cloak????? Nook rolls his eyes and hands me a SILVER SLINGSHOT (8). REALLY??? Does he know I can?t aim??? How in the world??? Ughhhhhhhhhh. I know he sees my frustration at this point. I could have bought all of this stuff at Nookingtons for like a couple thousand bells. He looks at me sheepishly and sets a NEWSPRINT HELMET (9) on my head. I get a chill down my spine thinking none of this is going to help me tomorrow. Instead he says my last item is in the other room and he?ll be right back. Time starts slowing and after what seems like hours instead of minutes, The closet door opens and Pietro quietly walks out with a RED BALLOON (10) and hands it to me. He then whispers, this is the last of the items you?ll be getting today. I?ll be watching for you tomorrow. Don?t forget, we all float down here.

Moral of the story: Pay off your house note before you give your landlord an obscene amount of money for something else. He might take revenge.

8) Campfire Cookware- to safely cook food and boil water
9) Compact Car- easy get-away and source of shelter
10) 1-Up Mushroom- extra lives
