1. Backpack. Need somewhere to keep supplies, something light that I can carry on my back, not with my arms, which I'll need to do other things such as defend myself.
2. Golden Axe. Self-defense, and it'll never break, so I'll be pretty good to go.
3. Lantern. I'll need to be able to find my way through many situations, including night time, or even caves, so a lantern would be very important.
4. First-Aid kit. If I get injured, I will have less chance of surviving, if that injury cripples me in some way, or even just causes me a slight pain or limp. Bandages, Peroxide, and Gauze would be very helpful for surviving.
5. Compass. Even though I don't know how to read one, it'd probably be useful. If I'm traveling in a group, someone else may know how to use it, which would be helpful.
6. Cans. Small containers of nonperishable food I could likely cook over a fire, started with wood gathered with my axe? Yes, please. I could carry so many of these and such a large variety of kinds of food!
7. Water Pot. Sure, it seems obvious, but having somewhere to store water would be really useful. I need water to survive, don't I?
8. Sleeping bag. Though if something was after me, I wouldn't be likely to fall asleep, getting rest is very important for surviving. If you don't sleep enough, you could start hallucinating, which could be worse than encountering whatever's after you.
9. Safety helmet. Keeping your head safe is really important. Head wounds bleed a lot, which could kill you if you bleed out for too long.
10. Camp Stove. You'd need something to cook your food on, right? And if you're lucky, you could hunt some animals or fish and cook them over the stove, too.
